I have been loving a lot of products this summer, especially since starting school, but I didn’t want to make this a super long list of favorites when August Favorites is right around the corner and not to far down the road will be yearly favorites! So I tried super hard to narrow it down to the top five things I have been loving this summer.

5 Products I'm Loving this Summer Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery #eBayInspired #makeup #beauty #beautyblogger #bbloggers #dermalogica #skincare
Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery – $66.00 || One of the things that I love about this product is that it has a SPF of 50! Walking back and forth from the Cosmetology building to the cafeteria, and the car, in the hot South Carolina sun can do some serious damage to the skin. I always make sure I pop some of this on before I head to school for the day. The second thing I love is how it not only protects my skin from the current sun but it also helps to counteract some of that past damage as well.

5 Products I'm Loving this Summer Nars Pro-Prime Light Optimizing Primer #eBayInspired #makeup #beauty #beautyblogger #bbloggers #nars #narsissist
Nars Pro-Prime Light Optimizing Primer – $34.00 || This product has been a Holy Grail product ever since I received it as a Beauty Insider perk at Sephora. This is a great primer when you want that “Dewy” look and the foundation that you’re going to be wearing doesn’t provide that. Along with that this has a SPF of 15 in case you’re going to be skipping the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery.

5 Products I'm Loving this Summer CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation #eBayInspired #makeup #beauty #beautyblogger #bbloggers #covergirl
CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation – $11.99 || When I’m going to school, or just out, and I’m wanting my skin to look 100% flawless this is the foundation I reach for. It works as a Primer, Concealer, and Foundation (hence the 3-in-1) and stays put even in South Carolina humidity. My only issue with it is that with my dry skin it can make my skin a bit flat which is why the Nars Pro-Prime Light Optimizing Primer is such a favorite of mine.

5 Products I'm Loving this Summer Borghese Summer Glow Tinted Moisturizer #eBayInspired #makeup #beauty #beautyblogger #bbloggers #summerglow #borghese
Borghese Summer Glow Tinted Moisturizer – $29.50 || One of the great things about summer is that summer glow you get, but I’m going to be honest and tell you that I really don’t have time to go out and get that summer glow (or to apply the fake tan for it either). Partnering this product with some of my winter foundations is a win-win in the summer glow department. Usually my winter foundations are a shade or two to light (I am able to get out in the sun a little bit!) and can only be used November through February, by introducing a small pump of the Borghese Summer Glow Tinted Moisturizer to these foundations it darkens them just a smidge and gives me that nice glowy look at the same time. I will say that I don’t use this with the Nars Pro-Prime Light Optimizing Primer because that would be just to much glow!

5 Products I'm Loving this Summer Mac Prep + Prime Lip #eBayInspired #makeup #beauty #beautyblogger #bbloggers #maccosmetics
Mac Prep + Prime Lip – $16.50 || The last product that I’m talking about for what I loved this summer is Mac Prep + Prime Lip. I put this on under most of my lipsticks to make them last longer, which is super important when in Cosmetology School, but I especially put it on under my matte lipsticks. I find that, especially in the summer, matte lipsticks can sometimes dry out my lips and putting this on before I apply a matte lipstick still gives it that matte look without removing all the moisture from my lips.

So there you have five of the products that I have been loving this summer, let me tell you it was super hard to narrow it down to just these five! As an added bonus in today’s post I’m actually partnering with eBay to bring you some guides on other beauty topics by other beauty bloggers. If you have frizzy hair, or are just into hair care products, you may want to check out the The Best Frizz Fighting Hair Products guide. I started Southeast by Midwest back in 2012 as a lifestyle blog. After a few months I felt a pull towards beauty so I rebranded as a beauty specific blog. Over the years I've grown my knowledge and love of beauty products to the point that I am currently in Cosmetology school.
