About Me:
I was born in Indiana and grew-up in Louisiana. I was raised by a single-mother and I have a sister and a brother who I love to death. In high school I was part of the Yearbook Staff, specifically I took and organized the photos, and had some great friends. When I graduated high school I moved from Louisiana to North Carolina for college. I would say this is one choice that I regret but if I hadn’t gone I wouldn’t have met my husband, plus I try not to dwell on the past.
Personal Life:
Speaking of my husband. We met at college because we had three classes together on one set of days. To be honest I didn’t like him at first as I thought he was a conceited jerk. However, due to all the classes I got to know him better and we became best friends. Before we had a chance to start dating though I moved back to Indiana to help with my grandmother. Four months later we started long distance dating and I wound up moving back to North Carolina where we dated for two years before marrying. We’ve been married since 2006. We do not have any children, we actually can’t have any, so our children are our Great Dane and our four birds. If you hunt around the blog you can find posts about them.
Makeup Experience:
I didn’t grow-up using makeup or even liking makeup. However, in the recent years it has become a passion and an obsession. I’m self taught and ready to pass on my teachings to others who don’t know a lot about makeup. I started out using just drugstore makeup but I’ve been progressing lately into high end makeup and I’m loving it.
