It’s almost the middle of July so that means it’s time for the June Favorites! I actually had no issues picking the five products in my June Favorites, I actually had a harder time narrowing it down! Make sure to check out the video below as well!
June Favorites: Mascara
The first time the L’Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara touched my lashes I KNEW it was going in my June Favorites. This mascara performed better for me than either of the Too Faced BTS mascaras and actually better than most other mascara’s period. I won’t say that it beats my favorite mascara of all time but I’d say it’s at least in the top three! For my full review click here
June Favorites: Lip Scrub
Another lip scrub?! Yep I just can’t leave them alone. Don’t get me wrong I still love the lip scrub from my April Favorites, I just also like this one as well…Okay let me explain. When I want a deep exfoliation for my lips I use the one from my April Favorites no matter what. However, when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to deal with the little bit of mess that a jarred lip scrub brings, I reach for the e.l.f. Lip Scrub in Cherry.
June Favorites: SPF
SPF is super important for the skin, especially in South Carolina. Now a lot of my skin care and make up products do have some sort of SPF in them, however, I like to make sure that I’m good and covered by going in with a skin care product with a higher SPF. My favorite is the Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery, which I reviewed here back in 2014. I absolutely love the Dynamic Skin Recovery as it works as a moisturizer and is a broad spectrum SPF 50 sunscreen for the face!
June Favorites: Detangling
I don’t know what it is but lately my hair has been a tangled mess. I mean I brush all the tangles out and LITERALLY 5 minutes later they’re starting back again. I decided to stop in at the Sally Beauty Supply in Walterboro and I asked the girl on duty if she had a detangler she recommended. She pointed me to the Ion Miracle Leave-In Conditioner from the Moisture Solutions line and I decided to give it a try. OMG it is the best detangler EVER! It not only makes it easier to get the tangles out but it also makes it where they don’t settle in as bad. Plus when I partner it with my Conair Gel Grips Hair Brush it is things that detangling dreams are made of!
June Favorites: Primer
Okay so I don’t even know how to justify my last June Favorite. It happened. I love it. That’s about all I got. I could go into this big long drawn thing about how YouTube made me do it etc. but I would be kidding you. I could also go into a detailed explanation about how I had a gift card and there was nothing else to purchase…there’s always something else to purchase haha! No seriously though, I actually did purchase the Marc Jacobs Under(Cover) Coconut Primer because I saw Jaclyn Hill rave about it sooo many times in her videos. Sephora was having VIB & VIB Rouge exclusive where you could get a deluxe sample (or early access to) the Marc Jacobs Dew Drops. I decided since I had enough to pick up the primer and try to get, I believe it was, the deluxe sample. My primer shipped but the sample was sold out! I thought about sending it back but didn’t want to go through the hassle of refunding a gift card so I decided to keep it and I’m glad I did. The Marc Jacobs Primer is SO moisturizing and smoothing plus it leaves my skin feeling so soft and looking a little bit dewey. I actually like to wear this on days that I’m not wearing foundation as well!

I remember having to use detangler all the time when I was a kid. I have naturally curly hair and it was BRUTAL to brush out.
I’m defiantly going to have to look into getting the detangling products. My 5 year old struggles with tangels all the time!
I think I will have to go to Sally’s and try out the miracle detangler of yours – both my daughter and I need that desperately!
That lip scrub looks lovely! It would be brilliant for prepping lips before a matte lipstick:)

Dermalogica sound amazing and I would definitely try it! Also the mascara, I am always looking for a good mascara. I would love to try the Marc Jacobs primer, I am a huge Marc Jacobs fan!
I’ve heard quite a lot about the loreal mascara so I might need to give it a try and see what I think x
I love that you included the new mascara I just picked up. So far, I like it. I needed to try something that wasn’t going to drip down with sweat.
That is a great array of products to choose from. I am fair so that SPF product is so important for me. I never used lip scrub before bu I must give that a try.
That lip scrub sounds amazing. I really need to pick me up some of that. Mine get so dry when it’s warm.
My daughter is all about leave-in conditioners and dry shampoos. She would probably love this leave-in conditioner. I will tell her about it.

I love a good lip scrub! Have you ever tried the Fresh Sugar Scrub? It works really well and taste pretty good lol

I love ELF’s lip scrubs. They are great for quick exfoliation. I need to try the Marc Jacobs primer. I keep hearing amazing things about it.
I have used the Marc Jacobs Primer and I am absolutely in love with it. These are all cool picks but Mac Jacobs is my favorite on the list.
I want to try the primer and lip scrub. I have avoided lip scrubs because of the mess but I think I would actually use this one.

Coincidentally, I just bought a tube of the L’Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara, and I agree – it’s great! It isn’t my favorite of all time, but it is definitely a contender for second choice.
My exact thoughts! It’s not my favorite mascara and it’s like tied for my favorite drugstore mascara but it is at least in my top five if not three.
