Awhile back I won a giveaway that included a full-size tube of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. I’ve been going through my makeup recently, organizing and decluttering it, and I ran across the tube in one of my “To Review” sections. I decided that I wanted to bump up my review of the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara to my next review.

The Urban Decay Perversion Mascara claims that it is a creamy formula, not to wet or to dry, that lengthens and volumizes. To go along with that, the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara has marine collage to protect lashes, honey extract to deeply nourish lashes, and hairdensyl to stimulate lash growth.

The wand for the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara is described as being “high-tech”. Along with being “high-tech” the wand is designed to separate and define the lashes while providing volume. The creamy formula is said to be “clump-free” and have “triple” pigments that are richly black and leave the lashes looking intense.

Since we just finished talking about the wand let’s start my thoughts with the wand. The wand isn’t nylon bristled which I really like. The bristles on the wand are spaced far enough apart that they do a great job of separating the lashes but they don’t separate them so much that they look unnatural. In addition to that, the wand is designed in such a way that you can just apply mascara to the lashes without having to do that weird twisting and turning that you see a lot of YouTubers do when applying mascara (no judging as I do it as well off camera but it still takes longer than just applying). Lastly, I like that the wand gets just the right amount of mascara on the end that you’re not putting a ton on your lashes…this is also good so that when you poke yourself in the eye with your mascara wand you don’t also deposit a ton of product in there as well…I’m totally not speaking from experience or anything :: cough ::

Now for the formula…I absolutely LOVE the formula of the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. It really is the perfect amount of wet, dry, and creamy AND, amazingly, it really was clump free. What I love the most though was that even though I didn’t poke(d) myself in the eyeball with the wand and have an eye that didn’t water throughout the day the mascara never decided to make a trek down my face. Lastly, when I tried applying a second coat later in the day thinking I would get crunchy lashes…I didn’t!

Overall, I think the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara is a great mascara that I would for sure rank in my top three! You need this in your collection!

Loooooooove this stuff. I purchased mine a few weeks ago and it was the kit which came with the mascara and lash primer. I didn’t use it for a few days and dug it out last week. Changed my life. Seriously. Love this stuff.

I haven’t tried their lash primer yet. I saw it on the different sites when I was getting the links for this post and it’s now on my “To Buy for ‘review'” list.

I learned the hard way you have to let it dry and set a few before trying to put the mascara on LOL

I have to try this out because my current mascara is always leaving me messy. I can never get the right amount on it’s either too much or too little. I prefer having too little so I can just apply more instead of looking like I have black eyes. I will have to try this product out!

I hate when mascara’s do that. I find when that happens that it’s one of two things, either the wand isn’t designed to be user friendly OR the wand and the formula aren’t designed to work together. When I find a mascara does that I try to finish off the tube, because I hate to waste and mascaras are the one product I can’t pass on to other people due to sanitation, but after that tube is done I move on to other mascaras.

I don’t wear a whole lot of makeup on a daily basis, but mascara is one thing I cannot leave the house without! I’ve been needing to find a new one, as my old one is almost gone and I wasn’t in love with it. I’m anxious to see the wand and see if it separates my lashes how I like it.

I absolutely love the wand on this mascara. The formula is amazing but the wand is what makes this mascara.

Sephora is my favorite cosmetics store. Yet, I don’t recall seeing the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara while shopping in there. I’ll have to look for it the next time I go there. Yes, I could shop online, but I love, love, love going in the store.

Check in one or two places, it’s either going to be in the Urban Decay aisle or on the end cap that a lot of Sephora’s have where they display a lot of the mascaras they carry. If you look and don’t see it in either place make sure to ask one of the employees to point it out to you, that’s what they’re there for!

This sounds like a great mascara. Honestly, I have never worn mascara, so I don’t know much about the different brushes and formulas.

Ah, I definitely need to get my hands on this!! I only wear mascara and eye shadow so it’s important for me to have a really nice mascara. I’ve heard great things about Urban Decay in general so I definitely need to try the brand.

It really is. I wish I could get away without wearing mascara, my lashes are to stubby lol

Yeah if those are the only two things you’re wearing then you want to make sure everything is great quality.
