It’s the end of the month so you must know what time it is, monthly favorites! I love sharing my monthly favorites with everyone because it’s a way of reminding you about a product that you may have been meaning to purchase but just haven’t had the opportunity to. Let’s see what my March Monthly Favorites were.
One of my monthly favorites for March was Bioderma Miceller Water. For those who don’t know I’m a multi-cleanser. What that means is that I use a makeup remover wipe, a miceller water, and then an actual cleanser. I do this because I have problematic pores that like to hold onto makeup if I don’t get it off completely. The drawback to multi-cleansing is that if it’s not done correctly it can strip your skin of it’s needed oils and moisture. That is why I love using Bioderma it’s strong enough to get the makeup off yet gentle enough that it doesn’t strip my skin. What makes it even better is the price! A HUGE (500 mL) bottle is only $19.95. I purchased a duo that contained the big bottle and the travel size ($6.95) for a combined price and I just refill the small bottle when it gets empty. To see the full-size you can check out my Bioderma review.

Another one of my monthly favorites for March was Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Exfoliant. In South Carolina the weather has been going back and forth between being cold and hot. Due to the constant weather fluctuations my skin has been crazy dry. I need an exfoliant that is, again, going to be strong enough to get dry skin off but gentle enough to not strip my already parched skin. Paula’s Choice Exfoliant does exactly that and what’s really cool about it is that you just put it on after your cleanser but before you moisturizer and you don’t rinse it off! For more information make sure to check out my Paula’s Choice Skincare first impression.

Another one of my monthly favorites for March was Matrix Volume Booster. I have fine hair which means that my hair is limp and doesn’t really hold a style. When I tried the Volume Booster in my damp hair I was suprised when my hair not only got volume but KEPT it! What is great about the boosters is that they can actually be combined with other products to help you get the style you’re wanting to achieve! I’ll be putting up a post on these in the next week or so!

Another one of my monthly favorites for March was First Botany Arabica Coffee Scrub. When I first tried this I was skeptical because it doesn’t have as wet of a formula as most other scrubs that I’ve tried. However, after I used it that first time I started to like it because my skin was left softer than most other scrubs that I used. I didn’t realize the level of my like for it until I actually tried another scrub to review and it was so horrible that it helped me to realize how great the First Botany Scrub was! Funny how that happens right?

My last monthly favorite for March was the Wet Brush. I had heard good things about Wet Brush for awhile so a bit over a year ago I picked up one of the small ones. My hair was to long for that little brush and while I liked what it could do in sections it just took to long to do my whole head. Back in December I found one of the larger Wet Brushes on sale and I grabbed it up to give it a go. I absolutely LOVE it and won’t use anything else when my hair is WET and needs to be combed or brushed. Don’t get me wrong when it moves from wet to damp and I start blow drying I, of course, switch brushes but for when I want to brush it out fresh out of the shower Wet Brush is always what I reach for.

Okay, I bought my first Wet Brush last month and I LOVE it! I seriously don’t know how I functioned/combed my wet hair without it. I can definitely see why it’s one of your favorites from the month.

My kids desperately need the Wet Brush, their hair is so long and it is so hard to brush. I need to try miceller water, I have a hard time getting make up off my eyes.

I love a good scrub. That coffee scrub sounds like it would be something I would love to try! I have heard a lot about that Miceller water this month too. I am thinking of picking some up when I run out of makeup remover.

I need to try the Bioderm. I also have problematic pores that like to hang on to make up. This sounds like it would really help.

The coffee scrub would really feel unique since it also comes with the usual coffee scent when you apply it. The wet brush looks more effective than regular brushes.
