I’m sure most of us have at least heard of Etsy if we haven’t shopped there. Over the years I’ve looked at Etsy for different hand/digital made items, however, over the past year I’ve mainly started using it to purchase items to use in my Erin Condren Life Planner. Around Black Friday I made quite a few purchases and decided to share them with you. Make sure to check out the video to each each individual sheet!
One Orange Snowflake has some pretty great quality stickers. For this order I got a sheet of her Christmas Countdown stickers, a sheet of her Peppermint Mocha Decorating Kit, Mardi Gras Sticker Set, and the Movie Stickers Set. I’m planning on partnering the Peppermint Mocha sheet with one from another shop for a week’s spread, the Mardi Gras sheet with, again, another shop for the week of Mardi Gras, and I’m planning on using Movie Stickers to decorate days that the Hubs and I decide to go to the movies.
LibbieandCo is another shop that has great quality stickers. The thing to note about LibbieandCo is that her stickers have a kind of vinyl feel to them instead of paper like most other shops. This is important because regular pens and Staedtler pens will smear on them, you have to use Sharpies. The plus side for LibbieandCo is that you get such a large amount of good quality stickers for such a small amount. Anywho, for this order I picked up a Meadow Mist sheet set, a sheet of School Sidebars, a sheet of Meal Plan Sidebars, a sheet of Rainbow Blow Dryer stickers, and a sheet of To Do Headers.
I’m going to just start this shop off with a disclaimer, CreatingandCo will always be one of my favorite shops. I’ve known Paige since before she had an Etsy shop, back when she was a blogger, so seeing her shop grow to what it is now is so inspiring. That being said between the One Orange Snowflake and LibbieandCo orders, I may or may not have placed three separate orders. The first order was for a Weekly Starter Set in Aqua and the Ombre Boxes from the Doodles Weekly Kit, Light Version.
My second order was my big Black Friday order and consisted of the Ombre Boxes from the Girly Christmas Weekly Collection (Limited Edition), Blank Mini Icon Labels, the Penguin Mini Kit (Holiday), the Traditional New Year Mini Kit (Holiday), the Weekly Sheets of the Let it Snow Weekly Kit, the Weekly Sheets of the January Snowflake Weekly Kit, the Weekly Sheets of the January Aqua Weekly Kit, the Weekly Sheets and the Clipart from the Beautiful Girl Weekly Kit, the ENTIRE Watercolor Snowflake> Weekly Kit (a first for me!), a sheet of Planner stickers, Ombre Boxes from the Mustard and Grey Weekly Kit (to go with the Traditional New Year sheets), a sheet of the January Colors Mini Icon Variety pack, the December Holiday Color Monthly Page (Holiday), the January 2016 Monthly Page, Ombre Boxes in January Colors, the Weekly Sheets of the Pink Mint Weekly Kit, and the Colorful Happy New Year Mini Kit (Holiday). WHEW!
My last order from CreatingandCo also took place over Black Friday weekend and consisted of things that she had in her New Releases video BEFORE Black Friday, but that I didn’t watch until the weekend of (this is why you should watch videos ASAP!) and I just HAD to have these items. The first item that I got was another sheet of the January Colors Ombre Boxes from the previous order, I also picked up a sheet of her Hydrate Yourself stickers. Lastly, the ones that I HAD to have were her Habit Stickers which are modeled after her Hydrate Yourself stickers. I picked up the Morning Routine, Night Routine, Followed Diet?, and some Blank Ones…just in case you know?!
Can you tell I'm a @disney fan? A Disney Princess planner cover from @woodlandcottagefarm and a Lion King/Little Mermaid mashup canvas notebook from @riptapparel I have to say @pageandscreen spoils me 😍 #disney #woodlandcottagefarm #thelionking #thelittlemermaid #riptapparel #etsy #planner #planneraddict #plannergoodies #planneraddicts #plannergirl #planning #plannerlife #plannerlove #plannernerd #plannerjunkie #plannerobsessed #plannersgonnaplan #plannercommunity #organized #eclp #eclifeplanner #erincondren #prettyplanner #plannersupplies #plannerstuff #notebook
The last thing I got from Etsy was a planner cover from the Woodland Cottage Farm shop. One thing you should know about Woodland Cottage Farm is that their covers are a bit pricey, they range from $56 + shipping to $72.00 + shipping for one that fits an Erin Condren Life Planner. However, you are getting a good quality handmade cover. Second, before purchasing you should know that it will take six weeks for you to get your planner and you should estimate when that six week period will end and make sure that date doesn’t fall near anything special. I say that because I placed my order on November 3rd making my ship date December 15th, however, my cover wasn’t accepted at the post office until the 21st of December. IF I order another cover I will make sure to plan ahead that my order doesn’t ship during any possible sales that could delay the shipping of my order. Lastly, there is a defect in the 2015/2016 Erin Condren Life Planner that makes it where the plastic covers don’t attach correctly. You know if you have one of these if when you turn your book so that only one side is facing up the cover tends to pop off in spots. Unfortunately, I have one of those planners which means the Woodland Cottage Farm doesn’t fit exactly right. This is in no way their fault and I’m willing to work around it because of the quality of the cover. I feel that this is just another quality control issue on the part of Erin Condren.
