Recently the Hubs and I decided to swing past a Bath and Body Works and see what they had on sale. This was actually a big deal for us because the last time we went to Bath and Body Works, on my birthday, we had a HORRIBLE experience and swore off Bath and Body Works. Fast forward five months and while we were in the mall we noticed the employees at the store were different so we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed ourselves so much on our trip that we went home and a few days later placed an online order. Here is our collective Bath and Body Works Fall Haul.
When we went into the store they were having a Buy 3 Get 3 Free sale, we love shopping that sale because it’s a good way to stock up. For myself I picked out three body sprays; Japanese Cherry Blossom (a classic sweet floral scent), Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin (a pumpkin scent that has a small amount of sweet and spiciness to it), and Beautiful Day (a fruity scent). During our online shopping I decided to check out the clearance section and saw that the Pink Lemonade Fizz travel body spray was on sale, I decided to pick it up to put in my Cosmetology Kit just in case.
For the other part of the Buy 3 Get 3 Free sale the Hubs decided to stock up on some body washes. He picked up Ocean for Men, which he has used before and liked, along with Alpine Suede and Whitewater Rush. One thing I will mention is that when it comes to the Buy 3 Get 3 (or 2) sale the men’s body sprays do NOT count towards this!
While we were at the store I wanted to pick up at least one fall candle, however, we haven’t had the best of luck with the 3-wick candles. With that in mind I decided on the Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow Mason Jar Candle, which has a kind of sweet but not sickly sweet fall scent. While we were shopping online we did notice that there were two 3-wicks that were in the clearance section so we decided to take a chance on those two; Spiked Cherry Limesicle, this has a great burn and throw, and Apple Crumble, which has a great cold throw.
To go along with the Spiked Cherry Limesicle 3-wick candle we decided to get a cute 3-wick candle holder that was on sale. I love the look of the anchors with the knots on this holder and it looks great with the red coloring of the Spiked Cherry Limesicle candle. I think this is going to make a great holder next summer.
Another thing that we purchased from the clearance section online was a Deep Cleansing Hand Soap in Pink Grapefruit Pop. We got this mainly for the Hubs who loves the scent of grapefruit. When we received the soap and he got a chance to sniff it he was so glad he took a chance on it as it has a bit of tangerine citrus in it as well.
While the only Scentportable pictured is the Pumpkin Apple (this has a GREAT Fall scent!) we actually purchased a second Scentportable, Fresh Linen (this has a really good clean scent), and a Scentportable Holder but those were in the car when the pictures were taken. I will say that we got one of the decorative holders because it was on sale and I really do regret that, I think the basic one probably is easier to open and close.
I was not a big fan of the newer PocketBac Sanitizers, however, when we went into the store we did a set of five and I put one in and a holder and with the holders I actually now prefer them! When we got home we decided to get a few more for both of us…don’t judge us we’re in school where germs are all over! These are the PocketBac’s that we got (top to bottom and left to right): Pink Grapefruit Pop, California Citrus & Sunshine, Emergency Stache, Twisted Web, Sweet Tangerine, Jawesome, Noir for Men, Harvest Mouse, Ripe Raspberry Vine, Hoot (two of these), Happy Halloween, Autumn Owl, Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte, Purrfect Potion, and Vampire Blood.
To go along with all of those PocketBacs we also got a few holders. The bat, squirrel, and black with gold are all mine while the blue and green (Seattle Sounders colors) is the Hubs. The bat and squirrel both light up and the squirrel has an actual bushy tail! So adorable.
The last thing that we got was the Fall Bucket, which you get for $25 with like a $35 or $40 purchase and is filled with several different products. The Fall Bucket this year had a Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Lotion, Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Shower Gel, Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte Fragrance Mist, Cozy Vanilla Cream Deep Cleansing Hand Soap, Cozy Vanilla Cream Hand Sanitizer with a Gold Holder, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Hand Cream, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Hand Soap, Marshmallow Fireside Mini Candle, and a cream colored loofa.
I’ve been a BBW junkie for ages. I can remember when they had about 10 scents to choose from. I loved last years Pumpkin Pecan Waffle scent so I was curious about some of this years fall scents. I try to do most of my shopping online because too many scents in BBW now, with tons of people spraying stuff it triggers a migraine. I was sad to see they changed the shape of their hand santizers. Now I have super cute purse packs that wont fit the new bottles!
