If you subscribe to the base subscription you get 4-5 samples per month, however, if you up your plan to $30/month then you will also get 2 full-size products in your box each month. The first item in my September Birchbox is a rather small sample of Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil in Medium Brown. I have been wanting to try the Perfect Brow Pencil ever since I tried their Brow Gel so I can’t wait to give this a go tell you what I think of it!

The second item in my September Birchbox is a vial of L’Artisan Eau de Toilette in Mûre et Musc. I am very picky about the perfumes/scents that I wear so I do not typically like to receive perfume samples in my subscription boxes, this L’Artisan perfume is no exception. It’s supposed to be blackberry with rich musk and wood, however, the musk and wood highly overpower the blackberry and it makes for a very unpleasant scent.

The third item in my September Birchbox is a bottle of René Furterer Leave-In Cream in Absolue Kératine. The Leave-In Cream works like an at-home Keratin treatment that you can use on dry or towel-dried hair. It does have a slight pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering at all.

The fourth item in my September Birchbox was a deluxe-sample of Tocca Body Scrub in Green Tea and Lemon. I’ve received Tocca products before in other boxes and they’re not all that bad, I do wish that they would come up with some other scents though.

The last item in my September Birchbox is an almost full-size sample of tréStiQue Concealer Stick in Bisque. The concealer stick actually wound-up being an almost exact match for my skin tone making it perfect to conceal with. I’ve only used it once so I don’t have an opinion on it just yet but I hope to soon!

So there you have my September Birchbox. While I did get this one a lot earlier than I have been I wasn’t to thrilled with the products inside. The only product that I was excited to see was the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil and I chose that in the Sample Choice! I’ll have to see how I feel about the other products after I’ve tested them out some more.
