It’s the beginning of October which means it’s time for September Favorites. That’s right, it’s the time of the month where I tell you what I was loving during the past month. I think this month would be a good month to explain how I pick items for my favorites, now others may do it differently but this is how I do it. First, an item must be in my possession by the 15th of the month in order to even be considered as a favorite for that month, I feel that I need at least half-a-month to test it out a few times and see if I actually like it. Second, items that I were sent for review are up for consideration as a monthly favorite, however, I do not guarantee or take money from anyone for an item to be included in my monthly favorites. So that means if an item is in my monthly favorites it’s because I actually liked it while I was testing it out. Last, some items that you see this month may come back around and they may not, this does not necessarily mean that they’re no longer my favorites just that I’m trying to not repeat things all the time!
The first product in my September Favorites is Vidal Sassoon Conditioner in Cherry Almond. I’ve been starting to up my hair care game since I started Cosmetology School and one of the products that I knew I wanted to try out was a Vidal Sassoon product. I was originally going to just get one of the bigger red bottles, however, the store I stopped to look at just happened to have a bottle of Cherry Almond and it said that it was a classic scent so I got it. First, this product smells absolutely amazing in my hair. Secondly, it leaves my hair feeling soooooo soft! This is for sure a repurchase!

The second product in my September favorites is the Sigma Beauty 3DHD Kabuki Brush. I received the 3DHD Kabuki Brush as a winner in a Sigma Affiliates Giveaway awhile back. I finally got around to testing it out and the only thing I’m disappointed about it is how long it took me to start using this brush! I love how easily it smoothes my makeup and how the cut of the bristles allows me to get in around nooks & crannies easier than any other brush I’ve used.

The third product in my September favorites is the Sigma Beauty Express Cleaning Glove. I received the Sigma Cleaning Glove as a PR Sample to test out and review for my honest opinion. After trying it out a few times I realized I couldn’t go back to using just my hands and fingers to clean my brushes. All the different textures on the Cleaning Glove really do help to not only get the brushes cleaner but they get cleaner faster! As my brush collection grows I will for sure be upgrading to the bigger Sigma Cleaning options!

The fourth product in my September favorites is the Fitbit One. I have been wanting a Fitbit for the past year or so, and especially once I started Cosmetology School, but I really had my heart set on the Flex or the newer HR. However, after doing a bit of research I realized that due to my career field something like the Fitbit One would actually be better so it wouldn’t be in my way during Shampoos, cuts, and styles. The Fitbit One does everything I need a fitness tracker to do but it does it discretely on the small pocket of my scrub top.

The fifth and final product in my September favorites is the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Highlighter in Champagne Pop. This Becca Highlighter actually came into my possession as a prize in a giveaway I won over on Olive and Ivy Blog. I’m so glad that I entered the giveaway because the Champagne Pop shade is AUHMAZING and it looks great on the skin! Winning this has really made me want to try other Becca products!
