In a few short days it will be the end of 2015! I don’t know about you all but I’m super excited. I’m so excited that I decided to do my first ever “Best of 2015” which will be a roundup of my favorite products from this past year. Since those will be going up on Wednesday and Friday I thought today would be perfect to do my last monthly favorites of the year! Here are my 2015 December Favorites.
The first product that I’m loving for the month of December is the Mi Vida Loca Palette from Kat Von D. Sadly, I wasn’t able to find this online anywhere but if you happen upon it in the store you really should pick it up. I love the fact that the palette is broken down to the colorful shadows on the outer ring while the neutrals are on the inner ring. I also really like the formula of these shadows. I could easily see several Kat Von D shadows making it into my professional kit.
The second product that I’m loving for the month of December is my Paula’s Choice Resist Oil Booster. This product is designed that you add a few drops into your moisturizer before applying and throughout the day/night it helps your skin to produce more oils. This works like a dream and while I was sent this one to review, see my Paula’s Choice Skin Care First Impressions post, I will for sure be repurchasing this!
Purchase Paula’s Choice Resist Oil Booster
The third item I was loving for the month of December is the Redken Pillow Proof Dry Shampoo. Awhile back I received a few Redken products to try out, see my Redken Styling Collection post, and knew that I would be purchasing more of their products on my own to try. I’ve heard great things about the Pillow Proof line and with good reason. The only product I’ve been able to find around me was the Dry Shampoo so I grabbed it up to give it a go. So far it is now one of my favorite dry shampoos!
Purchase Redken Pillow Proof Dry Shampoo
The fourth item I was loving for the month of December was the Tarte Eyelash Curler that came in the Sephora Lashstash box. I’ve heard great things about this eyelash curler for ages now, I mean most beauty YouTubers use this in every tutorial, but I put off getting it with the reasoning that an eyelash curler is an eyelash curler. I’m so glad that this came in the Lashstash set and I got a chance to change it because it has changed my eyelash game. This will for sure be a repurchase if I ever need to replace it for any reason.
Purchase Tarte Eyelash Curler
The last item I was loving for the month of December was the The Beachwaver Co. The WRAP UP. This makes having a bun one of the simplest things EVER. They offer this in three different shades blonde, brunette, and black to blend with the hair and you can use this to make either a high or low bun. So not only is it easy to use but it’s versatile as well!

Really great picks. I’d love to try out some of the Kat Von D makeup range, I’m not sure where it’s sold here in Ireland though. The Redken Pillow Proof dry shampoo is amazing!

I need The Wrap Up because I can never create a bun that looks right! My fave for December is my new Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir volumizing mascara. I love it!
Cassie
I’ve seen people talking about the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir and I want to try it so bad!
Miranda (Myrabev)
I can not believe 2015 is awesome over, lovely lust of favourites need to do the same soon
Mistee Dawn
I want all of these items! Especially that Wrap Up. I always have my hair up, it bothers me when it touches my face. lol
Cassie
Yes! I cannot function if my hair touches my face.
Alex
I am awful at making buns in my hair, so I think I really need to try a product that can help me! Such a great idea.

I’m not big on makeup but I love the idea of that wrap it up bun maker. I have crazy long hair that pretty much lives in a pony tail or a messy knot. I would love to make a pretty bun with it using one of those!

Very nice, so many things added to my to-try list. I’m totally starting with that Moisture Renewal Oil Booster, though – my skin needs that!
lisa @bitesforbabies
My favourites have to be my regular skin care regime products…DermaE and organic rosehip oil!
Jenn @ EngineerMommy
These are great products to try! That Redken product sounds really great, because I’m always looking for easy ways to make my hair look great from one day to the next! This sounds like a fabulous solution!
Mandy
One thing I have never mastered is a lash curler! Ha! I am scared to use it. In any case, I think you picked some great products! I do love eye shadow, so I will definitely check out the palette you featured.
Cassie
I was scared of them as well but this one is super easy to use and isn’t scary once you use it.

I love the Mi Vida Loca palette! Those colors are great! That is such a bummer that you can’t find it in any stores.
Cassie
You MAY be able to find it at a local Sephora, it’s just sold out online since it was a limited edition (which I didn’t realize until I did this post!).
Heather
The dry shampoo sounds great especially when traveling. I could hVe used that the day after Christmas when we were on the road and I didn’t bring my shampoo. I don’t like hotel shampoos and conditioners. I would have used the dry shampoo.
Never Say Die Beauty
That Kat von D palette really looks stunning! If I wore brights, I wouldn’t gotten it for sure. I like the Tarte lash curler. I bought a couple of them, but recently switched to Shiseido. Both are terrific
Jaime Nicole
I love, love, love dry shampoo! Sometimes there isn’t enough time in the morning and this helps me put off a blow out for another day. Haven’t tried this brand but will have to!
Kay's Ways
Dang I was gonna get the mascara set for the curler but I chose the one without it since I rarely curl them. I’ve been wanting a Tarte one forever. I’m loving Paula’s Choice skincare as well, gonna have to check out those drops.
Mimi
I am in love with RoC Resurfacing face pads. Definitely one of my December favorites. I can’t rave about that stuff enough. I need a new eyelash curler, I’ll have to look into this one.
Brigette Ramos
Awesome faves Cassie. I am obsessed with the Tarte lash curler, it’s such a great curler!!! I still need to try the KVD Mi Vida Loca palette still… everyone loves it and I’m over here wondering why I haven’t picked it up.. LOL.
Ashlyn Dawson
I really need that Kat Von D palette, I keep saying I’m going to get it then I forget. Thanks for reminding me. Been seeing a lot of people rave about Paula’s choice, it’s a brand I definitely want to try in the new year. Thanks for sharing.
Elaine

Great choices of favorites. That The Wrap Up item seems cool. I just wanna ask if they could work for the Man Bun too? I am currently having that kind of hairstyle 🙂
Cassie
If you had longer hair this version would work, however, if you have shorter hair (just enough for a man bun) you’d want the Half-Up that the same company makes 🙂
