If you’ve been around the blog for awhile then you know that I’m a big fan of Studio Gear Cosmetics products. I’ve actually reviewed their CC cream and their Dual Identity Mineral Foundation previously and today I’m going to be talking about their mascara and gel eyeliner. If you’re wanting to know if the Studio Gear Pro Mascara and Invincible Gel Eyeliner are worth purchasing then just keep reading!
Let’s start with the Studio Gear Pro Mascara first shall we? The Studio Gear Pro Mascara is billed as being a mascara that Thickens, Lengthens, and Separates. According to Studio Gear the Studio Gear Pro Mascara does the T.L.S, as they call it, by having naturally derived collagen and hydrolyzed wheat protein. The Studio Gear Pro Mascara also uses antioxidants to protect, nourish, and condition the lashes while being long wearing without smearing, flaking, or clumping.
Moving onto the Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner, which is a gel cream eyeliner that is supposedly water/smudge proof. Along with being water and smudge proof the Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner is supposed to have a smooth and even finish which allows it to be used as either an eyeliner or an eyeshadow. Studio Gear Cosmetics recommends that the Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner be used with their #31 Invincible Multi-Tasker brush which has Taklon Nylon synthetic fibers and has an ergonomic design that is supposed to move with the natural shape of the lid.
Ultimately I loved both the Studio Gear Pro Mascara and Invincible Gel Eyeliner. The Studio Gear Pro Mascara did thicken my lashes making them a darker shade, it did lengthen my lashes, and it did separate them but not to the point where it looked crazy. The one thing that I was worried about with the Studio Gear Pro Mascara was that it contains hydrolyzed wheat protein and as a celiac I can NOT have wheat. However, after researching hydrolyzed wheat protein I found that it is processed so many times that the trace amount of gluten in it is so far below the recommended amount for celiac’s that it is safe to use. I also really liked the wand as it made it easier to get all of my lashes without hitting my nose! As for the Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner, it hands down one of my favorite eyeliners now! I received the shade Earth which is a brown and the shade looks amazing as a liner and the formula is so great and it stays ALL DAY! I actually tried a couple of different brushes with the Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner and the #31 Invincible Brush is hands down my favorite brush for applying ANY eyeliner. It really does follow the curve of the eye and would be perfect for anyone just starting with eyeliner!
My recommendation is that if you can pick up not only the Studio Gear Invincible Gel Eyeliner but the #31 brush as well, you won’t regret it! If you’re wanting to try Studio Gear and would like a 10% discount, use the code SGEYES at checkout!
