Recently I was contacted by Bioderma to see if I would like for them to send me a package…um if you’ve been around for a while and read my review of the Original Bioderma Micellar Water, if you missed it check it out here, then you know I jumped at that opportunity. So I was waiting for my package to arrive, expecting to just get like a full and travel-size of the Original Bioderma Micellar Water. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the box to see not only a full-size of the Original Bioderma Micellar Water (pink cap) but of the Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water (blue cap), the Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water (green cap), the Bioderma Pore Refiner (green box), and the Bioderma Moisturizing Concentrate (blue box) as well!
Okay let’s start out by talking about the Original Bioderma Micellar Water or Solution as it says on the bottle. The Original Bioderma Micellar Water can be used by all skin types but is designed specifically for those with sensitive skin. It is supposed to soothe the skin while cleansing it and it is hypoallergenic and paraben free. I think my favorite part about the Original Bioderma Micellar Water is that I can remove not only my face makeup but my eye makeup as well without having to pull and tug on my eyes…and I can do it without having to rinse the product from my face afterwards! I not only use the Original Bioderma Micellar Water for myself but I carry it in my freelance kit as well!
The Original Bioderma Micellar Water can currently be purchased at Beautylish and is currently available in 4 purchasing options; 100 mL for $6.90, 250 mL for $11.90, 500 mL for $16.90, and a 500 mL pump bottle for $16.90 as well (this one is limited edition though!).
Moving onto the Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water. The Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water is different from the Original Bioderma Micellar Water in that it is meant for Dehydrated Sensitive Skin and as someone who has severe dry skin you know I saw that and did happy dances! I didn’t think that it was possible for one of my favorite makeup removers to get any better and now here was a chance that it would! I had to try it out to find out if it did before doing this post and guess what…it is even better! Seriously, when I use the Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water on a consistent basis I find that my skin starts to loose some of it’s “parchedness” and I wondered what was in it that was so different and was causing such a great reaction with my skin. It turns out that the Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water also contains Aquagenium which is an “exclusive biological patent” that helps the skin to retain moisture by stimulating that ability.
The Bioderma Moisturizing Miceller Water can currently be purchased at Beautylish and is currently available in 3 purchasing options; 100 mL for $6.90, 250 mL for $11.90, and 500 mL for $16.90. That’s right the only purchasing difference between the Bioderma Moisturizing Miceller Water and the Original Bioderma Miceller Water is that the original also has the option for the pump style in the 500 mL! There is no price increase to go from the original to the moisturizing if you have dry skin!!
Next let’s talk about the Bidoerma Purifying Micellar Water. The Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water is different from the other two micellar waters in that it is meant for those with combination or oily skin. Like the other two micellar waters the Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water is hypoallergenic, non-rinse, and paraben free. It’s different from the other two micellar waters in that it contains another biological patent called Fluidactive which is supposed to help regulate sebum and help to prevent clogged pores. I honestly can’t tell you if this works or not as I don’t have oily or combination skin, however, since the other two work so well I can only imagine that this would work just as good.
The Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water can be purchased at Beautylish and is currently available in the same 4 purchasing options as the Original Bioderma Micellar Water; 100 mL for $6.90, 250 mL for $11.90, 500 mL for $16.90, and a 500 mL pump bottle for $16.90 as well (which is also limited edition).
I just mentioned that I wasn’t able to test out the Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water because I do not have combination or oily skin. While I have severe dry skin I also was blessed with super large pores that like to get clogged at the drop of the dime…thanks Mom and Dad! While the Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water says that it could help this I’m hesitant to use it because I don’t want it taking away any of the facial oils I’m trying hard to generate! While the Bioderma Pore Refiner has the same Fluidactive technology that the Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water has, I can control how much I use and where I use it at much better than a liquid! The Bioderma Pore Refiner can be used once or twice a day on the skin before applying moisturizer to help those with oil and pore issues to maintain them OR it can be used as a makeup primer…which is totally how I use it! I get the smallest amount on my finger and then apply it ONLY to my nose and cheek area and let me tell you the difference is AMAZING! I think of it along the same lines as what a pore minimizing primer would do but I actually prefer the Bioderma Pore Refiner over any of the other pore minimizing primers I’ve tried!
Bioderma Pore Refiner can be purchased at Beautylish and is currently available in one purchasing option, 30 mL for $19.90.
Lastly, let’s talk about the Bioderma Moisturizing Concentrate…or as I affectionately call it, my favorite moisturizer EVER! Seriously no lies the Bioderma Moisturizing Concentrate is freaking amazing! As soon as I realized what this was in the package I immediately put everything else to the side and slapped some of this on my face…and it started moisturizing almost as soon as it made contact on the skin and it kept my skin feeling moisturized longer than most other moisturizers I’ve tried. This will definitely become a staple in my skin care routine!
Bioderma Moisturizing Concentrate can be purchased at Beautylish and is currently available in one purchasing option, 40 mL for $24.90.
All of the products that I was able to test out I really enjoyed and think that you would as well. I can tell you that the Bioderma Pore Refiner and the Bioderma Moisturizing Concentrate will be staples in my personal skin care routine. To go along with that the Original Bioderma Micellar Water is already in my freelance kit, and will stay there, and both the Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water and the Bioderma Purifying Micellar Water will be joining it there as well. If you’re looking for a makeup remover that is quick, pulls off all of the makeup, and isn’t that difficult to use then you should try one of the Bioderma Micellar Waters!

Wow! This is a lot more affordable than I thought it would be. Anything that can reduce the size of my pores by 54% has my attention! I’ve paid a lot more for products that don’t deliver on their promises. I need to see if Bioderma products are available in Denmark or the UK. And how cool that they surprised you with a whole box of goodies! Enjoy 🙂
I love micellar water! It is fantastic for getting stubborn makeup off. I wear winged liquid eyeliner every day and thick mascara. My normal face wipes are no match for that stuff but micellar water cleans it gently! I love it!
They really are super affordable! I don’t think Bioderma is currently sold in Denmark, however, I do know that they are available in the UK, Belgium, Poland, and in Germany. I’m going to pop the link to the UK Bioderma here in the comments and you can check the store locator for where it’s available to be purchased from, oh and at the bottom there is a link that says Bioderma around the world if you want to check out the websites for the other countries as well!

I like to double (or sometimes triple) cleanse so I always start out with a makeup remover to get all of the surface makeup off and then I go in with Bioderma for the makeup that was layered underneath and for my eye makeup.
I always look forward to your product reviews! You introduce me to things I never knew I needed. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of Micellar Water. Sounds like I need to add this to my beauty routine.
This sounds like a really interesting line. I have never heard of this brand or product. I am also looking for new skin routines as I get older. will need to look at this line for sure!
Aww thanks! And yes you should totally try a micellar water in your makeup removal routine.
Bioderma makes great products.
