So today I’m going to do things a little different. I’m getting back into doing YouTube videos on a more consistent basis over on my YouTube Channel, subscribe here, and I wanted to start out with my October 2016 Favorites. However, after much thinking I’ve realized that when I do a blog post for my YouTube videos I put WAY to much information in the post and I think that winds up hurting the views for my video! Don’t worry you’re still going to see a blog post with the videos but from now on they’re going to have a bit less information in them, at least for right now. If I find that this doesn’t help the videos and it starts to hurt the blog posts instead then I’ll switch back to the original way that I did the posts. Let’s go and jump into the October 2016 Favorites shall we?
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Real Techniques version of the beautyblender. I don’t currently know if I love it more than the beautyblender but I’m loving it at the moment. A full review will be coming in the future. The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge can be purchased in a single pack for $6.99 or a double pack for $10.99 from Ulta.
Clarisonic Mia 2
Clarisonic Mia 2 is a facial cleansing device and it is currently the only one I own so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I purchased my Clarisonic Mia 2 from Ulta in a bundle set that came with extra products. The Clarisonic Mia 2 can be purchased as just the device for around $169.00 at stores like Ulta, Macys, Nordstrom, and Sephora. These stores will also usually sell it with some kind of bundle package, the Clarisonic partnered with skin care items from a certain brand at that given time, for a bit more as well.
Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water
Bioderma Moisturizing Micellar Water is a moisturizing version of the Original Bioderma Micellar Water. In the U.S. Bioderma can currently only be purchased at Beautylish for $24.90. For more information on the product itself and not just why I love it, check out this post.
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation
I have the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation in the shade R230 and it’s just about perfect for me. There are other foundations that I’m loving about as much but this one won due to just how well it sits on the skin. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Liquid Foundation can be purchased for $43.00 at Sephora.
Urban Decay Color Corrector
I have both the pink and the green Urban Decay Color Correctors, however, I prefer the pink for it’s brightening abilities over the green’s cancelling out of red. I find that some foundations just don’t cover the green that well, even if the green is blended really well. The Urban Decay Color Corrector in Pink can be purchased for $28.00 at either Sephora or Ulta.
Lost Boy by Ruth B.
I found out about this because of the Shaytards, they sang it in a daily vlog, and have been obsessed with it ever since. Lost Boy by Ruth B. can be purchased for $1.29 from Amazon or other music service.
Love Yourself by Justin Bieber
I’m usually not a huge Bieber fan but this song is amazing. Note that the SONG is my favorite and I’m not necessarily saying that the person is my favorite, nor am I condoning anything he does in his personal / professional life. Love Yourself by Justin Bieber can be purchased for $1.29 from Amazon or other music service.
That concludes my October 2016 Favorites…

These are all great picks, but the Bioderma is the one I’m most interested in. I’ll have to check it out!
I’m loving these! I have the sponge and absolutely love it! My makeup goes on so much easier and looks so much better now! I have been wanting to try ForeverHD and I’m now convinced that I need a better facial cleaning technique! haha! And Urban Decay has the most amazing products! I’m loving their foundation right now!!!
That sponge is so different looking! Neat stuff!
The Bioderma was my top favorite!
I’m at a mix between the Urban Decay foundation right now and the Too Faced foundation. Both of them having been doing so great with my skin recently.
It really is!
