Mardi Gras Nail Polish Picks featuring Zoya

Mardi Gras Nail Polish Picks featuring Zoya #beauty #bbloggers #nailpolish #zoya #mardigras

I’ve known since last year that when Mardi Gras came around I was going to do a roundup of items themed around the holiday. Being from Louisiana and not having done one already is a bit shameful if I’m honest. Anywho, for the past month or so I’ve been kicking around how I wanted to do it and I finally decided that I wanted to focus on products that I’ve either used or I could actually point you to on the blog for swatches. Within the past week I finally narrowed it down to the specific theme of “Mardi Gras Nail Polish Picks” for this year, next year I’ll focus on another category, and I decided to focus on primarily Zoya products as they’re a brand I happily promote. These are the Zoya polishes that I feel make the best Mardi Gras Nail Polish Picks!

Zoya Maria-Luisa – $10.00 || Maria-Luisa is a gold special effect polish that can be layered over other polishes with a coat or two, if you want a light Mardi Gras look layer it over a white and if you want a more vampy Mardi Gras mani layer it over a black. However, if you have the time to build it up with a couple of coats you can actually wear this by itself as well. For swatches of Zoya Maria-Luisa check out the video in this post.

Zoya Thea – $10.00 || Thea is a purple Pixie Dust polish with chunks of hex glitter in it. While this is designed to be worn without a top coat for that chunky effect you can put a couple coats of top coat on for a more polished look. For swatches of Thea check out this post.

Zoya Rina – $10.00 || Rina is a shamrock green bar glitter special effects polish. Like Maria-Luisa it can be put on top of another polish, I recommend only one coat with Rina, or with a couple of layers it can be worn on it’s own. For swatches of Rina check out the video in this post.

Zoya Bar – $10.00 || Bar is a “Magical Pixie Dust” that is a light gold shade with more chunks of glitter than the regular Pixie Dust shades. To see Bar in action check out the manicure in this post.

Zoya Belinda – $10.00 || Belinda is a metallic purple shade that would make a great base to any Mardi Gras themed manicure. To see Belinda in action check out the swatches in this post.

Zoya Chita – $10.00 || Chita is a deep green Pixie Dust Polish. While Chita is a deeper green than the typical greens used for Mardi Gras, I actually think this would work wonders in a vampy/darker Mardi Gras themed manicure. For swatches of Chita check out the video in this post.

Those are fun colors! We don’t really do anything special for Mardi Gras but I do think that purple pixie dust color would be pretty for my toe nails.

The Zoya Chita has to be my favorite of these. I love that color of green and it totally makes me long for the Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans.

These are all really fun. My go to colors are black and nude or something really bright. This makes me realize I need a mani so bad.

Although I admit I rarely paint my nails or toes I absolutely love polish. Like a child I guess I’m just mesmerized by it. These are beautiful. Anything purple is my favorite.
