Wow this is super late isn’t it? I had all intentions of having this post up at the end of July, however, with all the stuff that has gone into getting ready to go back to school I just didn’t have the time. If it makes it any better I have August’s Favorites already in my planner and I’m narrowing it down as I type, until then though, why don’t we get into my July Favorites!

Speaking of planner, the first item that is in my July Favorites is my new planner cover! I was originally going to wait until the end of 2015 to get the 2016 Erin Condren Planner since my 2014 planner goes from 2014 to December 2015, however, a great deal of someone selling a vertical planner when they wanted a horizontal fell into my lap and I just couldn’t pass it up. The only issue with that was that I was stuck with the basic “Ready to Ship” cover and that just couldn’t stand! The Hubs came up with the great idea of custom designing my own cover for my blog and having that printed up, that man is a genius sometimes!, so I did. If you noticed my YouTube channel name has changed from CasstheSouthernBelle to Southeast by Midwest that was part of the reason!
As a beauty blogger I tend to try out quite a bit of makeup products, the problem with this is that sometimes favorites can be shoved to the back of the shelf/drawer and be forgotten about. It wasn’t until I reviewed the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation that I brought back out the Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation and realized how much I had missed it. Not only does this help my skin when I’m wanting that almost flawless look but it’s also great at staying in place. Hands down one of my favorite drugstore foundations.
As much as I love the Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation it still needs to be set with a powder. My favorite setting powder this month was the Mac x Maleficent Beauty Powder which is a soft pink tint to it. I know that some people use this as a highlighter but after applying foundation I actually like to use it as a setting powder all over my face. It gives my face a nice soft kind of glow and it helps lighten foundations that might be a smidgen dark, without adding a white cast. LOVE IT!
Due to the fact that life has been super hectic lately, I’ve been loving a nice and easy natural eye. I’m so glad I got the Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Palette for occasions like this. It really has been my one stop go to palette for the month of June and July. I use one shade for my brows, one for my lid, one for my crease, one for my outer V when I’m wanting to smoke it out a bit…you know what, if you’d like to see a tutorial on my “Go to Natural Eye Look” leave me a comment down below and I’ll film it!
The last thing that I’ve been loving for my July Favorites is the combination of Sigma Brushes that I’ve been using for my eye look. I use my Sigma E55 to apply on my lid, I use my Sigma E25 to apply shadow into the crease, I use my Sigma E40 to buff everything out, and lastly I use my Sigma E05 to apply an inner corner highlight.
So those are my July Favorites. Make sure to come back in a couple of weeks to see what I’ve been loving for the month of August!
