I’ve been around people who smoke all my life, so when the Hubs decided to start smoking it wasn’t a big deal. Until the price of cigarettes started to go higher and higher. On top of that we’re both about to start school again so the cost was going to become an even bigger issue. However, I didn’t want that to stop the Hubs from partaking in something he enjoyed so what could we do. Enter the blu PLUS+ e-Cigs.
We actually did a lot of research over a lot of different brands before deciding on blu PLUS+ because of the great value. The blu PLUS+ Xpress Kit was hands down the best that we found especially when partnered with the 1-year warranty and the Rewards Program (earn points for purchasing products and for doing things like connecting your social media to your blu account).
As I mentioned, the blu PLUS+ Xpress Kit was the best deal but let’s discuss why. To start off with let’s talk about what it comes with; one blu PLUS+ rechargeable battery, a USB charger that fits into any dongle, and two Classic Tobacco blu tanks (that have 500 puffs per tank). So we have the battery, charger, and two tanks which should cost around $30, however, it only cost $14.99! That’s a no brainer.
Along with being a great buy, the blu PLUS+ Xpress Kit is also super easy to use. Once you get everything out of their packages and have everything laying out it’s super easy to put together and use
- Take the blue rubber protector off the end of the blu tank
- Screw the now exposed end of the blu tank to the end of the blu PLUS+ rechargeable battery
- Peel the paper off the other end of the blu tank revealing the end where you puff
- Put that end in your mouth and puff.
Voila, it’s really just that easy. Changing the tanks is just as simple, you basically just unscrew the empty tank and repeat the process above. One thing I do want to mention is that you might want to keep the blue rubber piece that you pulled off in the above steps. The Hubs does this so that when he removes the tank to charge the blu PLUS+ rechargeable battery the end of the tank does not get messed up.
Now here’s the pickle with the blu PLUS+ kits and tanks, they are extremely hard to find in our area. We actually had to windup going to the blu website to find extra tanks. At the blu website we found a replacement battery for $8.95, a pack of 3 tanks (in 7 different flavors) for $14.99, and an ashless tray for $5.95. The Hubs has already picked up a Menthol pack and a Carolina Bold pack through the website and already has plans for more.
