Did you know that Christie Brinkley has a skincare line? I didn’t realize that either until I was given the opportunity to review the Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment. I agreed to try it because I was super intrigued, as I usually am about celebrity products. I’m usually wary of products created/co-created by celebrities, I’m usually afraid that they just put their name on it as something to do with their time/money and the product isn’t really worth the time/effort. Lately, I’m glad to say, I’ve been proven wrong by the celebrity created products I’ve tried, but was the Christie Brinkley Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment going to keep that streak?
Before we get to the claims and if they worked, let’s talk about the actual product itself. The Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment can first off be used without makeup and moisturizer with conflict or breaking down. I’ve tried a similar product that this was not the case with and let me tell you, it wasn’t pretty at all. You do want to let the product fully dry before applying makeup but you should be doing that anyway in between layers. The Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment is also cruelty free! I should probably mention that the Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment doesn’t have a scent at all, which is great for those who are sensitive to fragrances.

Water/ Aqua/ Eau, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol Crosspolymer, Dimethicone, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Copper Lysinate/Prolinate, Methylglucoside Phosphate, Pullulan, Porphyridium Cruentum Extract, Glycerin, VP/VA Copolymer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Amodimethicone, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin
The Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment claims to tighten skin on contact, smooth under-eye puffiness, and give smoother skin. According to the Christie Brinkley site the Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment does these things with Neoderyml which, from their description, I took to be a form of copper that helps the skin produce collagen. The Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment also uses Liftonin-Xpress which is what is used to give the instant tightening effect.
I did notice a slight tightening effect when I first applied the Instant Wrinkle Reducer and Treatment, not a painful one at all. I also noticed a slight decrease in puffiness upon first application. What surprised me the most though is that the longer I wore it, up to a point, it actually started to look better (i.e the way it looked twenty minutes later was better than first application, however, 5 hours later not so much). I did read on the Christie Brinkley site that you can reapply this throughout the day, however, with as many layers of makeup as I wear sometimes I think that might would have been a waste. If you don’t wear a lot of makeup (or none) this benefit would probably be right up your alley! Although, that does lead me to my favorite part about this product, a little bit goes A LONG WAY. Seriously, a small dab is enough to hit the problem areas of around the eyes and mouth and get the results you’re wanting. All things considered, this is a great product that I will for sure be repurchasing!
