Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash

If you read my BeautyKind Haul post then you’ll know that I recently got a bottle of Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash. One thing I should mention before I start this review is that I am picky when it comes to skin care. When I find an item that I like, I compare other items that I test to that item. If I find something that works great, why would I want to replace it with something that doesn’t work as great? That doesn’t mean the products are horrible just that they don’t compare to the items that I found work for me. So let’s see what I thought of the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash.

The packaging of the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash is one of the things that I really like about this product. A lot of my skin care products come in opaque plastic bottles with some kind of flip top. However, the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash comes in a transparent bottle with an actual pump. Which leads me to another thing I like about Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash the type of dispenser it has. Instead of having to tip the bottle sideways, I can leave it standing and to lock the pump all I have to do is twist it instead of pushing down and twisting.

As for the product itself, Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash says that it’s a 2-in-1 Cleanser and Exfoliator. THIS is my only issue with the product. As a cleanser the Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash works perfectly, it’s actually become one of my favorite cleansers. However, as an exfoliator Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash doesn’t hold up to other’s I have used in the past. I will still be buying this as a cleanser to cycle into my routine but I’ll stick with other exfoliants for that part of my routine.

  2. I already have an exfoliating product that I really love, so I don’t mind if Bliss doesn’t perform in that department. It sounds like a great face wash, though.

  3. I like skin care products with a pump. If I have squeeze it out, I usually end up with too much! The foam is good too so I can tell I have all areas of my face clean.

  5. I haven’t ever heard of Bliss before. I am really picky when it comes to skin care because my skin is so sensitive even the Mildest soap on my face tends to lead to break outs. This sounds interesting!

  7. It’s good to know this is a good face wash to pair with something else to exfoliate with. It could be a good one for the routine.

  8. I certainly appreciate the pump inclusion but desperately need an actual exfoliator. Glad to know it gave a good cleansing.

    • My favorite exfoliator is the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, that stuff leaves my skin super soft and smells great BUT it can be a bit pricey. If you’re looking for a drugstore alternative St. Ives Apricot Scrub is excellent AND they now offer it for different skin types. As a matter-of-fact some Walmart’s and Target’s have small travel size (or deluxe sample sizes as I like to call them) in their travel section so you can get a small bottle to try and see if you like it.

    • It really does do a great job of getting all the makeup off. I tried it once with using just the face wash to remove it but I usually use other products first 🙂

    • It really does hold up as a cleanser, I’m totally going to be buying it again. If you want to give it a try first you might could stop by Sephora, who sells it, and ask for a sample sometimes they’ll give you some in a small container to take home and try.

  22. Too bad about the exfoliation part. I’m a big fan of 2 in 1 products

    • I am as well, cuts the time when you can combine them. Although the cleanser part, in my opinion, makes up for that 🙂

    • It really is super gently. With my eczema my skin can be very sensitive and this didn’t aggravate my eczema at all, in fact it actually helped clear it up!

  25. I would love to try this foaming face wash. I will have to pick some up to try. I like when the bottle is a pump style. It is so much easier to use.

    • It really is! I find that the nozzle doesn’t get that dried on gunk when it’s pump style instead of flip-top.

  26. Sounds interesting. Too bad it doesn’t really exfoliate, though that’s probably okay as a daily cleanser. I only exfoliate once or twice a week.

    • Yeah it works great as a daily cleanser with an extra exfoliant how ever often you need it.
