Purchase: Day by Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum
Price: $28.95 (CDN)
I was provided the Day by Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum to review through Tomoson. However, all opinions on the product are my own and were not influenced by Day by Day Beauty or Tomoson. Day by Day Beauty claims that their Vitamin C Serum gives skin a smoother texture and that it makes it brighter and tighter.
Application
The Vitamin C Serum has a bit of thin texture so it can be a bit tricky to apply. However, once you realize that you need to do a little bit at a time it becomes much easier to manage. Applying is as easy as putting a small amount in your hand and rubbing onto your face until dry.
Score: 9 out of 10
Scent
For a Vitamin C Serum I thought that the Day by Day Beauty Vitamin C Serum would have more of a citrus scent to it, however, it actually has more of a rose water scent. This scent is by no means harsh or smelly it’s just a bit off putting when you first expect a citrus scent and you get a rose scent instead.
Score: 9 out of 10
Feel
The feel of the Vitamin C serum once it is applied to the skin leaves the skin feeling very soft. The only issue I had with the feel of this product was trying to apply it to the skin. As I mentioned above the serum is very loose coming out of the bottle which is part of the feel.
Score: 9 out of 10
Lasting Power
At the beginning of the post I mentioned that Day by Day Beauty claims that their Vitamin C Serum “gives skin a smoother texture and that it makes it brighter and tighter.” After a few days of use I have to say that I agree with their claims. The serum did leave my skin a bit smoother and brighter and I think with continued use it would have started to tighten it as well.
Score: 10 out of 10
Overall
Score: 9.3 out of 10
Overall this was a great Vitamin C serum for the price. If you’d like more information about Day by Day Beauty, their Vitamin C serum, or would like to order head to their site.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I usually avoid serums that contain Vitamin C because I have sensitive skin, but I will suggest this product to some friends of mine who have thicker, less sensitive skin.
Holy crap, a 9.3 out of 10 is pretty dang good!
Wow, you scored that really high so it must be really good to get ranked that high from you!
I’ve been hearing a lot about Vitamin C serums lately. They sound awesome, but I totally associate them with being citrusy and I have sensitive skin so I then worry that they would like, burn my skin or something hahaha. I think I am totally misunderstanding them though!
Yeah I think I was too because I was totally expecting a strong citrus scent and a bit of a burn. However, this smelled more like rose water and didn’t burn at all.
I totally need this! I’d like smoother skin! 🙂
It seems like Vitamin C serum is becoming a big thing lately. After your review I think I just might have to give this a try!
If you rate this so high, then I have to try it!
I am a big, big fan of vitamin C. It has made such a huge difference in my skin since I’ve included it in my daily skincare routine. I’ll have to make sure that I check out this product!! Thanks for the review!
Smoother, brighter and tighter… who couldn’t use that! If it really works, it may be something I need to add to my routine.
I grew up liking makeup and as I have gotten older I find that I prefer to have a fresh clean face. I look for fun lotions and serums that are effective – I will probably be going more for those wrinkle free ones as I age! This looks like it would be worth a try.
I’ve been hearing more about serums in the last year. Maybe it’s time that I tried a few for myself!
Sounds like a great product. Glad you had good results.
Woohoo! High ranking from you this must be some pretty good stuff! Thanks for sharing
Serums are hit or miss for me as they often make my skin breakout. This one looks like a good quality.
I have never used a Vitamin C Serum – I will need to check this out. I do not wear foundation only lotion I like fresh looking skin
Vitamin C serums are great! Glad you liked it too.
Sounds like a great product. I think it would be very beneficial
Vitamin C is so important for healthy skin. Definitely something everyone should use.
I need to try this out. I am always looking for things that will make my skin brighter and tighter.
Sounds like a fabulous serum! Loved your review; I’ll definitely have to check this out! 🙂

I’ve read several reviews about Vitamin C serum (in general) and the scent isn’t a citrus one (most say there is no scent.) It’s so interesting!! Thanks for sharing all of this. I love reading and learning about various products.
I am loving reading beauty blogs and learning about products I’ve never even heard of before. It’s so fun!
I need to learn more about serums. Who wouldn’t want tighter skin?
I have always heard Vitamin c is good to use. This looks like a great way to use it.
Looks like a product I’ll have to try out! Vitamin C is so important.
Sounds like a great product. We could all use some brightening and softening of our skin when hitting our 30s and above. That rose water scent sounds very refreshing and light!
I can always use a great serum!
Wow, this must be good
You gave it a great ranking and that is nice to see. I might have to try this.
I have heard really great things about vitamin c serums. Thanks for the review!
Vitamin C Serums have truly helped my skin. This sounds great!
I’m always looking for ways to look younger. Thanks for the heads up on the application tips.
It seems like Vitamin C serum is becoming a big thing lately. This review is great and super informative so I may have to look into purchasing a serum like this.
this sounds like a great Vitamin C serum!
I would think it would be citrus scented too. 🙂 Glad to know so I’m prepared ahead of time.
I thnk this is a great serum! I would pay $28 for it!
Thanks for the review. I’m always looking for a good price on beauty products. This one looks worth checking into.
101 out of 10? Amazing! Sounds like a great product
I meant 10 out of 10. Lol
I would have expected a citrus scent too. That’s kinda odd. Even though, I’m a fan of most serums like this. They feel so good and make my skin feel so soft, just like a baby’s bottom!
Thanks for the review! I am always looking for new beauty products!
It’s kinda pricey but if it works I’m willing to pay the price. Thanks for the review.
I’ve really become a fan of serums like this. They can be expensive, but a little goes a long way!
I have heard so much about the wonders of Vitamin C. You had some really great results with this product!
I wouldn’t have thought it would have a rose scent to it, but that’s awesome. I can’t stand citrus-y scents and would have never considered looking at it because I presumed it’d smell like citrus.
I am always looking for new face serums, especially vitamin C. Thanks for your review.
I like that you said it left your skin feeling soft. I have dry skin so I could use that.
Honestly, I’ve never used any serums. I’d be willing to try some though. I like your rating scale and it looks like this did great!
