Korres Makeup Wipes in Pomegranate || $12 – The Korres Makeup Wipes are some of my favorite on the market. They do not have a harsh smell, they remove just about all of my makeup with one wipe, and if I’m gently enough they can be used to remove most of my eye makeup. I have several packs of these running around my house (some in the bathroom, some in the makeup room, some in my travel kit, etc.) and they are well worth the money.
Philosophy Purity Cleanser || $35 – Philosophy’s Purity Cleanser is one of my favorite cleansers for when I have a nice thick face of makeup on and I really want to make sure that it ALL gets off. My only issue with the Purity Cleanser is that it is NOT safe around the eye area which means I would have to add in another cleanser. However, the fact that it not only takes off my make and cleans my face but that it fights acne as well makes it worth it.
Michael Todd Honey and Oat Gel Cleanser || $22 – I just bought this a couple of weeks ago, be on the lookout for it in an upcoming haul, and it has already become one of my favorite cleansers. It smells great, it’s nice and thick so I don’t have problems with it sliding out of my hands (or off my face) as I apply it, it’s a foaming cleanser so adding a little bit of water makes it easier to apply, AND it doesn’t hurt the eyes so it can be used to remove eye makeup as well.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes || $4.97 – The Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipe are a good alternative to the Korres Makeup Wipes as they are a bit easier on the wallet. The only thing that needs to be considered with the Neutrogena wipes is that they do come in different scents. I have heard of others being bothered by the scent of the Lavender and the Pink Grapefruit varieties that Neutrogena offers. I would suggest getting one of the smaller travel packs first to make sure your skin isn’t irritated by these.
BeautyBlender Solid Cleanser || $15.95 – When you say makeup remover most people automatically think about something to take the makeup off of your face. However, the makeup on your brushes and tools needs to be removed as well. The Beautyblender Solid Cleanser is one of the best at removing makeup not only from the Beautyblender sponge but also from makeup brushes as well. The only brushes I do not use this with are my eye brushes, I use no tear shampoo for those in case I don’t get all of the cleanser off the brush.
Those are the 5 best makeup removers in MY opinion. If you agree or if you think there are others I should have included let me know in the comments below.

I am not normally a makeup wearer, but if I ever do, I know there are a couple of great removers out there!
I actually find that the Michael Todd and the Neutorgena Wipes are good for just cleaning the grime off at the end of the day.
Love love love the Neutrogena wipes and the Beauty Blender cleanser. Amazingness!!!! I need to try that Michael Todd stuff.
That is the first Michael Todd product I have tried just because of how expensive they are and I already want to go buy a complete set, that’s how good it is!
Great tips and review on the products. I want to try the wipes. Thanks.
I’m a huge fan of makeup remover wipes (mainly because of convenience) but I haven’t found one that I can use on my eyes without it irritating them. I’ll have to try the Korres wipes and see if those are ok. All of the less expensive wipes seem to cause irritation.
I agree, I find that most drugstore ones irritate my eyes and any sensitive areas I might have. The Simple and Neutrogena wipes are the only ones that I have found that don’t do that, however, the Simple ones take quite a few wipes to remove the makeup unfortunately.
I haven’t tried any of these!

I do not bother to wear make up all that often but when i do i tend to use Neutorgena Wipes,A lot of other wipes irritate my skin but these do not.
Sounds like I might need to buy Beauty Blender’s Solid Cleanser…sounds great! By the way, I tagged you in my Lip Addict Tag post! Hope you’ll participate, I’d love to read your answers!
Thanks for that! I actually read your post but didn’t scroll all the way down to see the tag lol. I’m actually about to film this to go up on my channel in a week or so, I’ll make sure to mention you in the video and link to your blog in the info box. 🙂
The Neutrogena wipes are great, especially when you’re traveling!
I will defiantly have to try the beauty blender product!
I love Korres! Anytime I see any of their products in TJ Maxx, I snap them right up. I especially love Korres’ pomegranate facial toner. I usually use equate wipes to wipe off makeup, then I use the toner to remove any remaining residue or dirt.
I actually tried my first set of Korres Pomegranate wipes when I saw them in TJ Maxx! lol
Those pomegranate ones sound so nice! My all time favorite are ones from Target called up & up I think… just some generic packaging and I always get the sensitive skin ones. They’re like four bucks and work like a charm!! I love them.
I use the Neutrogena wipes and I LOVE them. Inexpensive and gets the job done.
I definitely agree with the Neutrogena wipes, Burt’s Bees and Aveeno also make pretty decent makeup removing facial wipes.
I have the Neutrogena Make-up wipes and I love it. I wanna try the Korres makeup Pomegrante wipes. Thanks for this as a fellow beauty blogger. I pinned this for future reference.
I used to always use the neutrogena wipes, but I’ve recently decided to switch to a cleanser that also removes my make up. I’ll have to try the philosophy one!

Which one are you currently using?
I’m using the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. I just recently bought it, though, so I’m not sure how I feel about it yet!
I haven’t tried that one before. Let me know what you think of it (or come back and link me to a review if you do one 🙂 )
I tried eleventy billion cleansers until I found the Neutrogena wipes. I am a fan of those!
I’ve only ever used the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes but I’m willing to try others. Thanks for sharing other options. I’ll have to check them out.
Love the Neutrogena makeup wipes!
I like the Simple wipes, but their other products caused me to have a chronic breakout after only one use, so I will not be using their brand anymore I started using the Aveno Ultra Calming line of face product and it has been amazing!
I’m super bad about remembering to take off my makeup. I do use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes though!
I absolutely love using makeup wipes. They are so practical and convent.

I like using the wipes because I can do it real quick in the car on the way home.
I love makeup remover wipes! Simple ingredients are preferred t
This is a good list of best makeup removers. I usually just get what’s on sale or I have a coupon for.
I really liked the Neutrogena ones, but you’re right about the scent. The grapefruit felt like it burned my skin. I use the Target brand now (even easier on the wallet, and they work just as great as Neutrogena!)
I have heard of those makeup wipes. I think they are great.
I’m so intrigued by the Korres pomegranate wipes! Do they smell amazing?!
They smell great. There’s a small hint of pomegranate there, enough to cover the makeup remover scent.
I’ve been buying the makeup wipes but I haven’t tried either of those brands. I especially love them for traveling. Can I find the Korres wipes anywhere other than Sephora? We don’t have that here.
If you’re looking for a physical store to find them in Korres products are usually only carried in Sephora stores. However if you have a TJ Maxx near you they’ll often have Korres makeup wipes for like $4. I’d keep my eye out for them there if you have one 🙂
I love Neutragena products, so if I wore makeup I would definitely get those!
I can’t live without those Neutrogena wipes!
My HG makeup remover is the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm. I’m crazy about it!
This is a great way to get rid of makeup at the end of the day. I read that women should remove their makeup before going to sleep as part of hygiene and skin care regimen.
That is very true, you should always remove your makeup at the end of the day. If you don’t it can add years onto your face.
Purity is one of my favs!
I pretty much stick to the classic Soap and Water. A friend of mine makes an amazing lavender oatmeal soap and its done wonders for my skin!
I’d like to try the Purity one. It seems awesome!
I will check these all out, I am always on the lookout for a good makeup remover.
I don’t wear much make up but when I do this will be helpful!
I’ll have to try a few of these out. I am extremely particular about my makeup removers and have been compiling a list of my favorites. Sometimes when I travel and have to pick up something new I hate getting one that sucks. It’s good to have a few I can rely on.
I love easy make up removers! I admit at night I’m a little lazy! I like easy skin careroutines!
I don’t wear much makeup but my daughter does. I’ll have to share this list with her because she’s always complaining that her makeup takes forever to come off.
I tend to use just baby oil to remove the little makeup I do wear, but it clogs my pores. I want to try these, mainly #4. Thanks for sharing these.
Baby oil can really clog the pores, if you want to try the Philosophy Purity cleanser you can probably find a small bottle of it at Sephora or Ulta for $10 to see how you like it. Friendly warning, because it is unclogging your pores and pulling a lot of dirt to the surface your first few uses you will have some breakouts. However, if you keep using it everyday those will quickly clear up. 🙂
I hate to admit that I just wash my face with soap. My daughter has been making me use makeup removers. We get the cheap stuff from Forever 21. Lol
Whatever works and doesn’t break you out or dry out your skin. Some people can use basic soap while for others it can be super harsh on the skin because of the PH.
I use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes and love them. I use a lot of Neutrogena products. I will have to try some of these other products out too. They look like something I would like and use.
Love the Neutrogena one!
That oat gel cleanser sounds AH mazing!! I love any sort of beauty product with oatmeal in it.
Sadly I’ve only heard of the last one? Thanks for these recommendations!
I don’t always wear a ton of make-up, but when I do, I use the Neutrogena wipes. They work well for me and I’ve never had any issues with scent.
I love using facial wipes for cleansing. They are quick, easy and do a great job!
I agree makeup wipes are super quick and easy to use.
I like the connivence of the makeup wipes! I have to be careful or they leave a rash under my eyes:(
Makeup wipes are the most convenient to use but they can be the harshest on the skin. The other day I used one makeup remover wipe to remove as much makeup as I could and I finished up with the Michael Todd cleanser and my skin felt wonderful after that combination.
I love Philosophy! I use a lot of their products but I haven’t tried the makeup remover. I will look into it.
A lot of their products are really great. If you like everything you’ve tried by them you probably won’t be disappointed by the makeup remover.
I use the Neutogena and love it! I keep the packs in my purse too.
I always make sure to keep a travel pack of Neutrogena wipes in my purse, never know when you’re makeup is going to make a run for it.
I love the philosophy cleanser. I love all their products, really.
The Philosophy cleanser is great, I want to try the wipes version of the cleanser and see how they hold up.
I am always looking for new make up remover. Thanks for sharing.
Let me know if you try anything and what you think of them 🙂
I like the Ponds cleansing cloths. I think they are a comparable cost to the Neutrogena wipes.
I’ve tried the Ponds Cleansing Cloths before but I have really dry skin and I had a problem with these making my dry skin worse. I’m glad they work for you though 🙂
Try using the Dr. Bronner’s soap instead of the Beauty Blender solid! They’re nearly dead-on dupes, and the Dr. Bronner’s soap has a cost 1/3 the price!
I’ve never heard of that one before. I’m going to see if I can find it and give it a try 🙂
Great post. Will be pinning it
Sometimes, taking the makeup off at the end of the day is the hardest part of wearing makeup. Products make the difference.
I love the Neutrogena ones! I’ll check out the others too.
I totally love the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes. I keep a pack by my bedside for those days where I forget to wash my face before falling into bed. It’s helped keep my complexion smooth and clean!
Confession: I am SO lazy. There are many nights I don’t take off my make-up at all, but I am much more apt to do it if I use the wipes. They are also great for the gym!
Great products 🙂

Thanks for sharing my link 🙂
I need to get some of those wipes! I don’t like to take a lot of time to put make up on or take it off so this looks like the right speed for me to get my make up off at night.
I have some of those Neutrogena make up remover wipe in my travel bag right now. I love them when we are on the road. We were supposed to go on vacation tomorrow, so I have a bunch. The trip got cancelled today though, so now I have a stock of them. I love Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Make Up Remover. It does a fantastic job.
I love the Mary Kay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover as well. However, I find it hard to get my hands on as none of the Mary Kay ladies in my area are active anymore 🙁
CASSIE – Have you ever heard of the MakeUp Eraser? I have used the Mary Kay Oil-Free Makeup remover for the past decade but now that my little girl (she is 13 now) has need of a makeup removal method, I am soooooo happy to have found this fabulous new cloth that only requires warm water to remove all out make-up, including the waterproof MK mascara that I have used for years. It is like a miracle cloth! If you are interested in trying one, I would be happy to send you one to personallyt review! Thanks!!
