BeautyBlender || $19.95 – A BeautyBlender is a sponge that comes small and dry but when you are ready to use it you run it under water, squeezing the excess out and it doubles in size. You then dab the sponge in your foundation and pounce it over your face. In my opinion this tool provides the most flawless application of liquid foundation! NOTE: there are knockoffs on the market but I have not found any that compare to this little guy.
BeautyBelender Solid Cleanser || $15.95 – When it comes to cleaning makeup brushes I’m a proponent of using either baby shampoo or cheap cleansers. However, when it comes to the BeautyBlender, while other cleansers CAN be used, I find that the solid works the BEST. It is almost a miracle worker.
Tarte Bamboo Airbuki Brush || $26 – When it comes to setting powders I usually tend to go with big fluffy brushes because I like the way that they feel on my face. However, when it comes to POWDER foundations one of my favorite way to apply them is with a kabuki brush because they buff the foundation in better. I have found that the Tarte Airbuki gets the best coverage without lines and feels the best in the hand.
Z Palette || $20 – If you’re someone that either A. purchases eye shadow’s and blushes in the refill sizes or B. has a lot of eye shadow packages and blush packages running around then this product for you. You can depot your eye shadows and blushes, remove the plastic outer casing from around the metal pan holding the product, and then set them inside of this magnetic pan. This is a great way of condensing down the mess.
Clarisonic Mia 2 || $150 – I LOVE the Clarisonic for how clean it can get your skin. It gets really down deep and removes all the dirt, grime, and makeup that is hiding in your pores and you may not even realize that they’re THERE! The Clarisonic can be used with any cleanser and can be used with replacement heads for those who may have sensitive skin or are more acne prone.
i feel really bad that I have none of these! But I am going to pick up one! What’s the first MUST out of these?
The clarisonic, if you have the funds for it, you’re skin will thank you later. If you don’t then the BeautyBlender for sure 🙂
Spot on! I have four out of the five tools and I agree 100%
i would like to see a tutorial. also i think we have that. except i didn’t know what it was and the kids play with the kittens with it. beauty challenged, party of one. right here.
I am so bad about wearing makeup, but all your posts make me want to go on a Sephora shopping spree. You find all the coolest stuff.
I sadly don’t own any of these – or any makeup. I shall crawl in a hole now. :-X
I would definitely agree with all of these. 🙂 I don’t have that exact kabuki brush but definitely thing one in your collection is a must.
I have none of these tools. I’ve heard of the Clarisonic and how amazing it is. Maybe I should save up and invest in one? The BeautyBlender also sounds really interesting! I’d definitely be interested in learning more.
I just posted on someone else’s site yesterday asking about the BeautyBlender. I wear powder foundation a lot of the times, but I’d love something to use when I wear BB cream. I really need to get one to try out.
I’m actually on the hunt for a new kabuki brush? I’ll definitely be taking a look at this one 🙂
Again with the clarisonic. I hear you speaking to my soul. Consider my birthday wish list MADE! 🙂
The Beauty Blender sounds interesting. I think a tutorial is in order!
I’m definitely interested in trying the BeautyBlender.
I cannot live without my Clarisonic Mia or my Beauty Blender sponge! They have both made such an impact in my beauty routine. The Beauty Blender is definitely a hidden treasure that many do not know about 🙂
I absolutely agree on the BeautyBlender… The rest I can skip on. The BB does so much!
I’ve heard so much about the Mia. I bet it’s awesome!
Oh I want that Clairsonic Mia! I have always wanted to use something like that, my skin isn’t what it used to be in my 20s! LOL!
I also love the clarisonic. I get a great deep clean and a healthy glow.
I love the Beauty Blender. I like that you can rinse it off after each use!
Beauty Blender is my FAV!
This is for me. I think I only have one of those right now.
Alright, I’m pretty fascinated with the idea of the Beauty Blender and pouncing it! Make a tutorial for SURE!
I have….none of that. lol. Seriously, I used a knock off beauty blender for awhile and it was meh. I really want that brush though! I also want a clarisonic.
That beauty blender is super cute! I currently never use foundation, or face makeup so I dont need it yet. I do however use a touch of blush or bronzer!
Well I need to check these out! I don’t own any of them!
That beauty blender is the ish! It blends my makeup to perfection–great list & I would love for you to come and share it at That’s Fresh Friday!
A nice and soft brush like the one pictured is a MUST. I love the feeling of putting powder on with one of these.
Ooh, that beauty blender sounds awesome!
It really is, keep an eye out for a review/how-to use it coming soon 😉
