Well the April Birchbox Unboxing is a little bit late… Does it matter that the mail is a little slow and quarantine of packages happened? Although, to be fair for this one I was also waiting for a new lighting set that I ordered to get here and that took a hot minute as well.
IBY Eyeshadow
The first product in my April Birchbox is a single shadow from the IBY Beauty City Limits Eyeshadow Palette. The shade I received is Road Trip and it came in it’s own little compact.
MAC Strobe Cream
The next product in my April Birchbox is the MAC Strobe Cream in Pinklite. This is a primer that is infused with skin care and can be worn under makeup or alone.
Onekind Mask
The next product in my April Birchbox is the Onekind Pore-fectionist Refining Facial Mask. This mask is supposed to exfoliate while drawing out impurities.
R+Co Style Foam
The next product in my April Birchbox is the R+Co Rodeo Star Thickening Style Foam. This is supposed to be a styling foam that gives body, volume, and lift while being lightweight and leaving no residue.
Stila Lip Gloss
The last product in my April Birchbox is the Stila Beauty Boss Lip Gloss in Synergy. This is supposed to be a plumping and hydrating lip gloss that applies smoothly and doesn’t leave lips feeling tacky.

Final Thoughts on the April Birchbox Unboxing
Can I start with the fact that the IBY Eyeshadow came in it’s own little compact? Usually they come in little plastic clamshells and you need to have a magnetic palette to keep up with them. The fact that this one has it’s own packaging is just amazing to me. I’m tempted to purchase the full-size palette just for that! As for the rest of the products, I’m super excited to have the MAC Strobe Cream and the Stila Lip Gloss, especially since I haven’t tried the latter. The only products that are kind of meh for me this month are the Onekind mask and the R+Co Styling Foam. Check back later in the month for my review of my April Birchbox.

The box design is cool! And that little eye shadow does look awesome haha. And nice lippy colour 😀
I am just tickled by the little compact of the eye shadow. I’m so use to subscriptions having part of a palette as a little metal pan in a clear plastic clamshell.
Yes, I will check back because I want to hear your thoughts on the Stila lipgloss especially. And I’d like to see what the MAC Strobe Light is like. I have a few liqui-cream IBY shadows that I got a couple of years ago. Wish I could remember where I put them, because the shadows were very pigmented and very pretty. Nice box!
I’ll make sure to get a couple of good swatch photos for you. Strobe Creams can be used as moisturizers, primers, or just worn on top of the skin without foundation.
Not a bad value, and that eyeshadow looks great!
Doesn’t it though. I’m intrigued to use it here shortly.
I realize the box is only $10 but seeing it doesn’t inspire me to resubscribe. I would get this for a gift for a cosmetic newbie though.
That is actually why I’m going back and reviewing Birchbox, Boxycharm, and older makeup products. My niece has started reading my blog posts and watching my YouTube videos. I want her and her mother to be able to see different quality, etc. before they put their money into something.
