I learned about Pai-Shau Hair Care from another blogger and wanted to give them a try. I do want to mention that I got this product back in May, however, it came right at the time that my medical issues started to flare back up so I missed posting about it. That being said, I still wanted to tell you about Pai-Shau Hair Care so you know whether or not it’s worth the splurge. To find out, check out the video below or just keep scrolling!
About Pai-Shau
Before we talk about the products, let’s talk a bit about Pai-Shau. First off, what is Pai-Shau? Pai-Shau means passion for life which the brand takes to heart. They do this by using ethically sourced ingredients like tea leaves. When I heard that their hair care had tea leaves in it I was a bit confused, why would you put tea leaves in hair care? I didn’t realize that different tea leaves have different naturally occurring vitamins and antioxidants. To go along with that, Pai-Shau products don’t have any added sodium chloride and are *takes deep breath* paraben, sulfate, phosphate, gluten, and cruelty free as well as vegan.
About Pai-Shau Hair Care
Sounds great, but what about the individual products that I received. I received the Pai-Shau Replenishing Hair Cleanser, Pai-Shau Replenishing Cream Conditioner, and the Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion. These were part of a Hydrating Ritual Set that was available around Mother’s Day but that I can no longer find on their site, sadly. Two of the products use Pai-Shau’s Signature Tea Complex, which I will break down below, in their formula while the other uses a proprietary emollient blend for its formula. I don’t know if that one also uses the Signature Tea Complex, however, it could. What is the Signature Tea Complex you may be asking? It’s a blend of teas that infuse the hair with moisture while restoring the natural shine to the strands. Here is the breakdown:
- White Tea – Provides a natural UV filter to act as environmental protectant and extends the life of any color
- Pu-erh Tea – Polyphenols and antioxidants that eliminate free radicals that can damage the hair and scalp
- Green Tea – Stimulates circulation to clear any debris from the hair follicle
- Black Tea – Has a high concentration of vitamins and minerals to give back luster, shine, and body to the hair
- African Red Bush Tea – Protein and other anti-inflammatory ingredients that will soothe the scalp and strengthen the hair
Pai-Shau Replenishing Hair Cleanse
The Replenishing Hair Cleanse that I received is 250 mL or 8.4 oz. if you prefer to deal with ounces and costs $26.00 at either Macy’s or Pai-Shau itself. The Replenishing Hair Cleanse is useable by all hair types and is a combination of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals to restore the hairs youthful appearance. It accomplishes this by being formulated with Pai-Shau’s Signature Tea Complex.
Pai-Shau Replenishing Cream Conditioner
The Replenishing Cream Conditioner that I received is also 250 mL or 8.4 oz. and costs $28.00, is it just me or do I remember conditioners being the same price as shampoos but they now seem to cost more sometimes drastically more, at either Macy’s or Pai-Shau itself. The Replenishing Cream Conditioner is the product that uses the proprietary emollient blend either instead of or with the Signature Tea Complex. This emollient blend is made up of rice amino acids that strengthen the hair and hydrolyzed oat proteins that calm the cuticle of the hair and restore the luster. This blend helps to infuse the hair with moisture without adding any weight to the hair. I do want to mention that the Replenishing Cream Conditioner actually makes sure to mention on its packaging that excess water should be removed from the hair before adding the conditioner and then rinsing it out.
Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion
The Biphasic Infusion that I received is 120 mL or 4 oz. and costs $45.00 at either Macy’s or Pai-Shau. The Biphasic Infusion contains the highest content of Pai-Shau’s Signature Tea Complex and this helps to provide extreme shine and overall healthier looking hair. The reason that it’s called the Biphasic Infusion is because it uses two phases to get the Signature Tea Complex into the hair. In phase 1, the Signature Tea Complex and a Weightless Silk Concentrate penetrate the hair to deliver intense moisture, shine, and protection in something called the T-Sylk Technology. Then in phase 2, the moisture is attracted and then locked in to the strand and thermal protection is provided. It should be noted that the Biphasic Infusion needs to be shaken well before using.
Pai-Shau Hair Care Review
I really enjoyed all three of these products and while I liked the Biphasic Infusion more the other two were great products as well. The Replenishing Shampoo lathers well and makes my hair feel healthy and bouncy. What I like most about it is that it leaves my hair feeling clean but not in a stripped clean kind of way if you know what I mean. I feel that the Replenishing Conditioner’s emollient blend does an amazing job of making my hair feel stronger and less frizzy which I really liked. As for the Biphasic Infusion, I can’t rave enough about how amazing this makes my hair feel. I was having problems with my hair shedding and the Biphasic Infusion helped strengthen my hair, along with the conditioner, and while it’s still shedding it’s no where near what it was before I added this in.
Final Thoughts on Pai-Shau Hair Care
If you want my recommendation on one product to try it would be the Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion without a doubt. Yes it is $45.00, however, a little bit goes a long way and you’ll have this for quite awhile. I would also recommend the shampoo and conditioner but I know that $26 and $28 respectively can be a lot for some people. If you don’t have the money for that cost then don’t do without other things just to purchase this. If you do have the money though and you’re looking for a new shampoo and conditioner to try out then I’d suggest giving this one a try!

I agree with you about Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion– it’s incredible! I really like their products a lot!
These make me want to try other products from them!
I just received a couple of new haircare products for trial, but I will remember this brand and especially the BiPhasic treatment product. It sounds wonderful
What are you testing out?
I’ve never heard of this line. It does sound a bit on the expensive side. But, if it helps the hair and someone can afford it, then heck yes!!
My thoughts exactly!
These products are wonderful but the fragrance just doesn’t agree with me. My hair did look wonderful when I used them but I finally had to give up. My sister was thrilled to be the recipient of these.
At least you tried and they went to someone who will use them. Not every product is for everyone!
What interesting ingredients, I’ve never heard of tea as helping the hair.
I had never heard of it either!
Passion for life, that’s a good philosophy behind the brand. Good to know they’re vegan and cruelty-free
I thought that was an amazing philosophy for a brand to have!
The infusion sounds very interesting!
It’s super interesting AND amazing!
