It’s Fall here in the States and that means that colder weather, dry skin, and chapped lips are here. I tend to super picky when it comes to lip products as I don’t like products that are going to dry out my lips more. I also like products that nourish my lips while still providing colors, that’s where Pixi Lip Products come in. Pixi has two sets of products that fit this criteria, their Shea Butter Lip Balms and MatteLustre Lipsticks. For more info on these Pixi Lip Products just keep scrolling!
Pixi Lip Products Shea Butter Lip Balm
Claims: Nourishing Lip Balm | Shea Butter | Vitamin E | Sheer to Light Coverage | 6 Shades
Size: 0.14 oz.
Price: $8.00
Purchase: Target | Pixi Beauty
The Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm is a nourishing lip balm that contains shea butter and vitamin E in it to help nourish the lips. The coverage for this Shea Butter Lip Balm is a slight wash of color that comes in 6 shades; Pixi Pink, Natural Rose, Honey Nectar, Ripe Raspberry, Sweet Peach, and Scarlet Sorbet. The three shades that I have are Natural Rose, Sweet Peach, and Ripe Raspberry. The packaging for the Shea Butter Lip Balm is a plastic green base with a top that is “similar” in color to the shade of the lip product.
I personally love the slight color that the Shea Butter Lip Balms get and the sheen that they leave on the lips. I do find these to be very nourishing on the lips even though they aren’t long lasting. However, with a lip balm I’m not expecting hours of use so I’m perfectly fine with the amount of wear these have. I have to say that my only real issue is the packaging of the Shea Butter Lip Balms. The packaging for these feels super cheap and fake, almost like something you’d expect from kids play makeup. Having reviewed multiple Pixi products in the past I’ve come to expect better from them and this is disappointing.

Pixi Lip Products MatteLustre Lipstick
Claims: Matte Lipstick | Demi-Matte Formula | Full-Coverage | Vitamin E | 11 Shades
Size: 0.13 oz.
Price: $12.00
Purchase: Target | Pixi Beauty
The Pixi MatteLustre Lipstick is a full-coverage demi-matte lipstick that has hyaluronic acid and vitamins C & E in it to nourish and plump the lips. As mentioned, the coverage for the MatteLustre Lipstick is full-coverage and comes in 11 shades; Plump Pink, Petal Pink, Peach Blossom, Rose Naturelle, Honey Bare, Coral Red, Bitten Rose, Classic Red, Plum Berry, Raspberry Blush, and Pure Fuchsia. The three shades that I have are Peach Blossom, Rose Naturelle, and Bitten Rose. The packaging for the MatteLustre Lipstick are a plastic green base with a green top. The shade of the lipstick can be seen via the bottom.
The MattreLustre lipsticks apply with a luster to them and can be matted down by either tapping with a finger or blotting. I personally blot by kissing the back of my hand, and then washing my hands of course, so that no tissue sticks to my lips. I personally love how moisturizing these are for a matte lipstick, how drying matte lipsticks are is usually why I avoid them as my lips are already dry enough. Due to the demi-matte formula and the how moisturizing these lipsticks are they are definitely not transfer proof so if you’re looking for that in a lipstick these won’t be for you. I personally loved them though!

Final Thoughts on Pixi Lip Products
I like that there are two different nourishing Pixi Lip Products to choose from. For those who prefer a more tinted balm kind of product there is the Shea Butter Lip Balm and for those who want a nourishing lipstick theres the MatteLustre Lipstick. Either way you can’t go wrong with these lip products and I highly suggest picking up one or both the next time you’re at Target!

Oooh I want to try one (or more of these). I always have lip balm on my lip and I love when they have a slight color tint.
I’ve never heard of this line, but I really like the colors. I’m particularly fond of shea butter lip balms and I would love to try this!
It definitely is that time of year and I’m constantly complaining about chapped lips and dry skin. Great writeup and sounds like a great product to try.
These look lovely. The colors are so pretty and they look like they would feel great on the lips as well. I love Pixi products lately.
These are super cute and would make great stocking stuffers and are reasonably priced. Win/Win!
The packaging on these are super cute and I really love the range of colours there are. Thanks for sharing this with me!
I was introduced to Pixi products several years ago by my niece. She let me have a small compact of eye shadow, and there was something about the color, and the way it felt on my eyelids that was different from anything else. I am a Pixi lover, and all of these shades look great.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about the lip balms from Pixi and I’m sure they’re a great choice especially for taking care of your lips during the Winter! My daughter swears by them!
When the cold weather starts coming in it becomes chapped lip weather. I will keep this lip balms in mind for lipcare and for a good look.
This would be a great investment for me, when the fall and winter hits I struggle with dry lips and there’s only so much Carmex I can handle LOL
this lip colors all look so great! I will have to run out and get some 🙂
I’ve heard great things about Pixi. I haven’t ever tried them myself, but think the colors are just beautiful. Esepcilaly the darker ones, I’m not much of a fan for the darker colors but these are so pretty.
I am a lip product junkie so you could not have written about a more interesting topic. I can’t wait to go check them out.
I really am a fan of these lippies. I’ve been enjoying them a lot and find that I’ve been pulling them out of my collection the most over my other lip products.
I love Pixi Lip Balms. They are so comfortable on the lips. I do with the packaging was a little more sturdy. The new matte lipsticks are nice as well, but I do find they tend to sink into lip lines.
Beautiful colors and they all look so moisturizing! I really need to toss out older lip makeup and get a new haul for fall!
I’ve never heard of them, but i’d be interested in the shea butter lip balm, specially this time of year.
I’ve not heard of this line, but it has a catchy name and I do like the colors. I also like that you gave your readers the ingredients.
