For those that have read my other Pacifica reviews this part is going to be a bit repetitive. For those who don’t know, Pacifica makes products that are 100% vegan and cruelty-free and they use recyclable materials with sustainable ingredients. Their nail colors specifically are also “7 Free” which means that they are formulated without 7 of the most toxic chemicals in most nail polishes (phthalates, toluene, parabens, camphor, formaldehyde, triphenyl phosphate, and xylene). Pacifica states that removing these ingredients does not take away from the application that it still goes on smooth, stays put, and dries quickly.

Ingredients

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid / Neopentyl Glycol / Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Styrene / Acrylates Copolymer, Stearalkonium Bentonite, n-Butyl Alcohol, Benzophenone-1, Silica, Alumina, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Polyvinyl Butyral. May Contain: Aluminum Powder (CI 77000), Oxides (CI77499 / CI 77491), Red 34 Lake (CI 15880), Red 6 Lake (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Ferric Ammonium Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Mica (CI 77019), Blue 1 (CI 42090), Yellow 11 (CI 47000), Titanium

Pacifica Nail Color Trio Super Fox Swatch || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #ManiMonday #vegan #crueltyfree #naillove #nailjunkie #7FreeNailPolish

The first shade that was in my trio was Super Fox. Super Fox is a teal shade with a hint of shimmer to it that is absolutely gorgeous. Super Fox would make a perfect Spring or Summer shade and is honestly my favorite out of the trio. What I love most about Super Fox is that out of the three shades this one is actually the only one that is opaque in one coat and it really doesn’t need the second coat.

Pacifica Nail Color Trio Midnight Rambler Swatch || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #ManiMonday #vegan #crueltyfree #naillove #nailjunkie #7FreeNailPolish

The next shade that was in my trio was Midnight Rambler. Midnight Rambler is a deep navy blue shade that not only needs two coats but it needs a base coat as well. I always recommend using a base coat as staining can happen with any nail polish, however, I know that when time is short sometimes we short steps but Midnight Rambler is a shade that you don’t want to short the base coat step as it will stain your cuticle and your nail plate! Also with Midnight Rambler it isn’t as opaque as Super Fox is in one coat, however, you can get away with using just one coat.

Pacifica Nail Color Trio Star Dust Memories Swatch || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #ManiMonday #vegan #crueltyfree #naillove #nailjunkie #7FreeNailPolish

The last shade that was in my trio was Star Dust Memories. Star Dust Memories is a gorgeous grayish-blue that needs two coats but is absolutely stunning after the second coat. I would have to say that Star Dust Memories would be my second favorite shade out of the three and is one that can be used all year long! In the picture I use Star Dust Memories as an accent nail but let me tell you it looks just as good, if not better, when it’s the only color on the nails.

Overall the Pacifica Nail Colors are amazing. They do go on smooth, they do stay put pretty well, and they do dry quickly. To go along with that the brush is a bit wider than a typical nail polish brush, but not as wide as I’ve seen others, making it the perfect size to make application easy and less mess on the cuticles. I will be looking at Ulta the next time I go in and picking up a few more shades to add to my collection!

  1. I love those colors! I’ve never been a fan of bright reds and pinks on my fingers. I love more subdued earth tones like this. They’re just punchy and rich enough without being too flashy.

  2. Pacifica is a great brand! I love their packaging, and it seems to be similar to Tarte, but obviously less expensive. I didn’t know they made nail polishes, I’ll have to check that out next time I’m at a store! That dark blue color is gorgeous!

    • Both Tarte and Pacifica have gorgeous packaging!

  3. I wish I had more time to play around with nail colors! Every time I try to paint my toenails, I get interrupted and the polish gets smeared. It’s like trying to roll a boulder up hill.

    • I know the feeling! Whenever I paint my nails that’s when the phone rings or someone needs something. I found that investing in a good nail dryer was worth the price!

  4. When I get my nails done or pick up a bottle of nail polish at the store, I always find myself drawn to the dark polish colors. I am absolutely LOVING the pacifica nail color trio, especially since my favorite colors are blue and green. Now only if I could make sure my nails didn’t immediately chip!

    • I find that my chipping has a lot to do with my top coat and not letting everything dry properly. Once I let everything dry for longer periods of time, used a good top coat, and sealed the edges my chipping decreased a lot!

  5. These are three colors I can definitely see myself in. I live in sunny south Florida and I spend a lot of time at the beach so these colors would look really nice on me. I love changing my nail color frequently but I really like how Pacifica is free of toxic chemicals.

  6. I’ve never heard of this brand but I love that they do not contain any harmful chemicals. I’ve been buying mainly vegan products lately but this one seems to fit the bill as well. I LOVE the green…green has become one of my favourite colours to wear!

  7. I’ve never actually worn blue nail polish in any shade but seeing on you makes it look really pretty. I like the idea of mixing and matching nails with the different colors. Now I just need the motivation to stop biting my nails so they can grow long enough to paint them.

  8. Super Fox is my favorite of all the 3 colors. I have never head or Pacifica nail polish before and like that they don’t contain the 7 chemicals found in most other nail polishes. This is also good when painting young kids nails and I will be checking them out for future purchase.

  9. I don’t think I have ever heard of this brand of polish. i will have to check around and see if there is any near me. My girls love to have me paint their nails all the time. I let them test colors as I am the boring French only person!
