February has been such a busy month for me! Between papers and tests for Cosmetology School, spending a little free time with the Hubs and the pup, and testing out products to review I’ve just been swamped. Lucky for all my readers, you’ll be seeing those reviews soon. Today I’ve decided I can’t keep you in the dark anymore and have decided to shine a light on the products you’ll be seeing on the blog in the coming weeks. Keep reading for a sneak peek at some upcoming reviews.
The first sneak peek is for the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. Yes you may have already seen reviews of this palette all over the place. However, I wanted to make sure to use the shadows multiple times in different conditions to make sure that I was giving you a true and accurate opinion of the palette…instead of posting a review within a couple of days of having the product.
The next sneak peek is for the Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in Poe. This lipstick is another case of wanting to try out different ways before expressing my opinion. We’ll have to wait until the blog post comes up to see how I felt about it!
If you watched the Amazon Beauty Haul video then you’ve seen the sneak peek already. I purchased a travel-size GlamGlow ThristyMud Treatment for a Travel Beauty Bag post that I did awhile back and after giving it a few tries I wanted to grab the full-size treatment to have for the review (don’t expect that all the time).
This next sneak peek is part of a PR Sample that was sent to me. The item pictured is specifically Matrix Volume Booster, I will be covering it and several more items from the Style Link collection soon!
The last sneak peek is another PR Sample that I was sent to review. I will be reviewing the Derma e Charcoal Mask shortly and you’ll want to make sure you stay tuned for that post as there will be a giveaway for that as well…
Speaking of giveaway…well actually let’s wait on that for a second and talk about the photos for this post. All of the photos in today’s post were taken with lighting done exclusively by the Cobra OttLite LED Lamp done at different brightness levels and from different positions. The Cobra LED Lamp offers 3 color modes (warm, cool, and natural) along with a brightness level panel and a USB charging slot.
I wanted to discuss the lamp because that is what this giveaway is for. That’s right I’m giving you an opportunity to win a the Cobra OttLite LED Lamp that currently sells on OttLite for $79.99. To enter you have to at least do the mandatory entry below and it must be done according to what is listed so be careful! Also this is open to residents of the US and Canada (excluding Quebec).
Can’t wait for those upcoming reviews- such awesome products. If I were to win I would put fun objects like makeup and food that I make on my Insta account under my OttLite. I would also use this to photograph items that I sell on Ebay. The lighting looks awesome and would be a great help!
So excited that you got a light too! It’s such a handy little lamp for taking pics. 🙂
I would like to try some food pictures under the OttLite
I’ve had my eye on the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette. I’m going to wait to see your review before I decide to take the plunge and buy it.
I love the color of Kat Von D’s lipstick. I would have to hide it from my daughter, she is obsessed with lipstick.
Well it sounds like you have a whole bunch of reviews to do on all these different makeups. I can’t wait to see how you like them.
Oh I want to get my hands on that charcoal mask! I have heard some great things and I can’t wait to see how my skin reacts. Anything that will give my skin a healthy glow is a bonus!
I would put my sewing and craft supplies under the lamp.
I love the packaging of the lipstick its very edgey
I love urban decay, I can’t wait to hear what you think about this palette. Same with the charcoal mask. Charcoal is a ‘secret’ beauty and health tool of mine.
I’m all kinds of curious about the Gwen Stefani product. I love her but I didn’t know she had products and such.
The lamp looks very nice. It would make taking blog photos super easy.
I need to try a face mask on my face. I don’t use anything on my skin on a daily basis.
I’m interested in what you have to say about the charcoal mask. I would like to try something like that for my skin – but haven’t seen many review yet.
I was looking into purchasing that Gwen Stefani make up palette but they ran out here. As for the mask, gotta love charcoal masks! Keeps my face fresh!
I love the packaging of that lipstick!! I need to get my hands on the glam glow
I would put my computer under my Ottlite LED lamp if I were to win.I love working on my computer and this would be awesome.I also do a lot of reading and studying so I have all fingers crossed to win this fabulous prize.
Thanks so much for this great opportunity to participate. This could mean a life changing experience for me if I win.
I would put fabric under the light and use it for sewing.
I’m really interested to hear about the Derma e Charcoal Mask. That sounds like something I’d like to use and will be looking forward to hearing all about it and all these other items!
I can’t wait to see what you think of the different products. That OttLite sounds fantastic. I love OttLite for sewing.
Great review of the products above. I love the lipstick case! It looks very elegant.
All these beauty products look so good! I will check these out!!
so many upcoming goodies your way!!
I absolutely love dermaE products…I think I have purchased every single one of them…except this one!
I would put my sewing under the Ottlite so that I could finally see my small stitches!
I would love to try these products! The glam glow is amazing!
I would put wonderful books under my new OttLite lamp and read, read, read!
I would put my painting and drawing projects under the OttLite. That would be a huge help to be able to see the fine details much more clearly.
I would put craft projects that my niece has done under the OttLite LED Lamp.
Looks like you have some very exciting reviews coming up. The Gwen Stefani palette looks particularly interesting. And what I put under my OttLite? Probably a book!
Oh my goodness, if I had this lamp it would make things so much better for my next blog post. I want so badly to photograph a table setting at my sister-in-law’s home, but her lighting is terrible. This lamp would make the lighting so much better!
I would put my books under the Ott Light and do some serious reading!
i would put desserts and products that i would like to review or sell online
My Mother makes quilts and baby blankets and when she has finished making one we take pictures of it. However, our lighting is awful and does not allow enough lighting for the colors to really show up well in the pictures. Therefore I would put my Mithers quilts under it to take pictures of them. Thanks so much.
Awesome products! Can you review some other clay masks? Because that would be great. Thanks! 😀
