Final Thoughts on the July Birchbox Unboxing

I have to say that besides the bag not coming with a conditioner to go with the shampoo, I actually really like the idea of all the products in this box. After thinking about it, the masque might server the purpose of the conditioner… I also like that this month they switched out the reusable box for a reusable bag. This is the third time that they have done this since January and I am liking it. Overall, my first impression of this box is that it is one of the better ones that I have received.

  1. I wouldn’t be happy with this box. The Play Tint is a super old product and I really don’t have use foe the rest. That’s what is so great about sub boxes, there are so may for different tastes!

  2. I am a major fan or Davises and Oribe, and would definitely use those happily!

  3. Nice variety! I forget, do you get to give them guidelines on what you want? it’s been so long since I’ve tried birch box!

  4. Although only one makeup product (I used to love Benefit tints so I am eager to hear about this one), you definitely got some luxury haircare products. I love Davines but have never tried the clarifying shampoo. I hope you’ll let us know if it’s safe for color-treated hair and how you like it. I liked to use Eva NYC Clarifying Shampoo once every couple of weeks to remove product buildup, but it’s not color-safe, boo hoo. The Oribe masque sounds great.I’m also curious about the Cherry Lip Peel (better for winter than now?)

  5. Interesting combination of products in the box. I wouldn’t be thrilled with it but I think the products are useful.
