Viseart palettes have become my new favorite item to collect, especially the EDIT palettes. While the Visart Paris EDIT Palette is the 3rd one that I’m reviewing it’s actually the 2nd one that I purchased. It got bumped by the Spritz EDIT due to the Spritz being newer. However, I still wanted to cover my thoughts on the Paris EDIT so let’s jump in shall we?
About the Viseart Paris Palette
The full-size Paris Palette has 0.42 oz. or 12 grams of product, has magnetic removable pans, has a nice sized mirror, and retails for $39.00. The Paris Palette can be purchased at Beautylish, Sephora, BeautyBay, and Viseart.
Viseart claims that the Paris Palette has a long lasting formula that is easily blended. The shadows are housed in magnetic pans that can be placed in either magnetic palettes or mixed-and-matched with other EDIT palettes. There are four finishes in the Paris Palette; matte, metallic, satin, and matte with reflects. The ingredients for the Paris Palette are:
Viseart Paris EDIT Palette Swatches
Pétale is a light pink with a matte finish. Champs-Élysées is a white gold with a metallic finish. Crème Brûlée is a camel brown with a matte finish. Fleur is a muted mauve with a matte finish. With 3 of the 4 mattes from the palette in this row, it is one of the best for setting a base on the lid and working in the crease.
Oprea is a pink with a metallic finish. Beaux-Arts is a light copper with a metallic finish. Tulle is a warm pink with a matte finish. Cerise is a black cherry with reflects. Both Opera and Beaux-Arts look AMAZING as metallic lid shades. Tulle is perfect if you’re wanting another crease shade or if you’re going for an all matte look. Lastly, Cerise is one that looks good in the outer corner, patted on the lid so it keeps it’s reflects, or blown into the crease so that the particles are gone but giving you a nice smoky look.
St. Germain is a smoky purple with a metallic finish. Marais is a copper brown with a metallic finish. Pirouette is a warm brown with a satin finish. Tuileries is a purple mauve with a satin finish. OMG the satin finishes on those last two are soooo buttery. I wish all satin shadows looked, performed, and felt the way those two do.
Final Thoughts on the Viseart Paris Palette
While I am starting to collect the EDIT palettes I am always going to be honest with you on whether you should purchase a product or not. In all honesty, if you’re more of a fan of matte shadows than metallics then you’re going to want to skip this palette. Also, if you’re a fan of more colorful looks then this should be a skip for you. However, if you like a mix of mattes and metallics and softer more “romantic” shades are what you’re after then this is the palette for you.
If you’re wondering which of the EDITS to start with, well hold onto that though. Once I finish reviewing them individually, I’ll be posting a ranking of the EDIT palettes.

I must admit I do like these sorta eye colours. 😀
I knew I’d hit on something that caught your eye eventually 😉 Aren’t they gorgeous!
I have a few of their palettes and love the quality. This is a pretty palette.
Their palettes are amazing quality across the board. I haven’t found a palette that I don’t like from them, even if I’m not a fan of the shades in it.
I love this mini palette! Your photos and swatches are fantastic! What do you use as a light source? My house is like the bat cave, so dark, and trying to use natural light on a day that isn’t sunny isn’t working out for me. Help!
I’m using the Glamcor Multimedia X lighting system. It’s a bit pricey (they are having a 20% off sale for the 4th) but I considered it an investment. Honestly, you could probably get away with getting the Elite X if you’re not interested in doing YouTube. I prefer the Glamcor lights over umbrella lights as they are LED, mine came with a remote to adjust the temp of the lights, and it takes up less space in my apartment. I also photograph on a white background of some kind so the light bounces back towards the camera.
I can do a post on the lights if that would be helpful? Just let me know.
Oh and here’s the link to their lights (non affiliate): https://glamcor.com/collections/pro-lighting-full-collection
I love the look of metallics but to be honesty I truly do stick to mattes. Thanks for keeping it real!
I’m thinking about getting one of their all matte palettes soon to review.
I bought every single palette they have when they first came out.
I did that with the EDIT palettes and a few of the mini palettes. I think I might move to the bigger palettes next.
