Purchase: KL Polish

For those of you who may not know. KL Polish is the brand that YouTuber Kathleen Lights created a few years ago. Last year, Kathleen and the other backers of KL Polish split ways with Kathleen leaving KL Polish. She just launched her new polish brand, Lights Lacquer, a few days ago. However, KL Polish is still trying to sell off the remaining polish that was made and Kathleen does still make money off of those. Therefore, I decided to share with you my Final KL Polish Haul, which was done ages ago, I apologize if any of these are no longer available.

About KL Polish

KL Polishes could be purchased as either individual polishes or full collections, with box sets being added a few collections into the life of the brand. Each bottle has 0.41 oz. or 12 mL of polish in it and they come with a wider flatter brush.

Collections for KL Polish were themed around different things, i.e. fantasy themes, decades, etc. I had purchased all of the collections from the first one through Ethereal Gardens. The polishes from this haul are a hodge podge of polishes from the different collections after that. The collections I purchased from were; one polish from Havana Heat, one polish from Fall in the City, two polishes from Winter Reign, one from Zodiac, two from KL Polish x Ofra Cosmetics, and one that is a special edition bestseller release.

Final KL Polish Haul Review

Final KL Polish Haul One Coat || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bblogger #klpolish #klpolished #manimonday

Per usual this is one coat of polish and the photo below is two coats. The polishes I picked up, from left to right, are; Havana Nights, Miami Fever, Unfortunate Souls, Celia, Jane, Aries, To the Stars, and Zoey. I also picked up a back up of Aries and To the Stars because they are the shades I could see myself using so much I’d want a back-up shade of. I missed my chance with one of my favorites, Miss Honey, and I regret that. I wasn’t making that mistake again.

Havana Nights and Miami Fever are two polishes from the Ofra Bundle. Havana Nights is a deep brick red that looks gorgeous on the nails, while Miami Fever is a terracotta orange with a hint of deepness to it. These are both great fall polishes and the bundle comes with an Ofra Liquid Lipstick in either Havana Nights or Miami Fever (you don’t get to choose). Unfortunate Souls is a deep purple that if you already own Mozart from the brand you could probably skip this one. Celia is a hot pink polish that almost glows from it’s neonness, sadly it is sold out and it was the last in stock from the Havana Heat collection. Jane is a muted magenta that would have been perfect for fall, if it also wasn’t sold out. Aries is a bright orange with a slight red to it and it is, obviously, from the Zodiac collection. To the Stars is a royal blue with a metallic finish, I didn’t initially think I would like but boy am I glad I got a backup because it’s so much more gorgeous in person. Lastly, Zoey is a special edition of one of the polishes from the very first collection KL Polish released.

Final Thoughts on Final KL Polish Haul

Final KL Polish Haul Final Thoughts || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bblogger #klpolish #klpolished #manimonday

Honestly, while I don’t like how they ship products I’m sad to see KL Polish going under. The KL Polish formula is amazing and the brush is one of my favorite brushes on the market. To go along with that, I’m not sure if I want to support another polish brand by Kathleen, even though I am subscribed to her. How many collections will we get through before she decides to split ways again. Yes, I know that she is the sole owner of Lights Lacquer, however, she is doing this with someone else with the amount of times she said “WE” in her video and what happens if they fall out or she gets bored. *shrug* I’ll probably wind up eventually trying the new brand and I’ll hope that there as good as KL Polish. I highly suggest picking up at least one, if you haven’t already.

  1. I wasn’t familiar with Kathleen or the KL brand. But I love the reds and the metallic blue shades you bought. The brush is the type I love. I’ll check out her new brand. Hope she’ll keep the important things the same

  2. I think that blue one is terrific. It’s always a shame when one of our favorite brands closes down though.
