It’s time for July Boxycharm Unboxing and the June Boxycharm Review. If you want to know how June’s products held up and what all was in my July Boxycharm then check out the video below or just keep scrolling.
June Boxycharm Review
To see what all I got in my June Boxycharm check out my unboxing here. I will not be reviewing the eyeliner or the lashes as I didn’t see the point of keeping products I would only use for this review. Instead those are in a box to send to some family and friends. The other three products were the Ofra Liquid Lipstick in the shade Verona. This lipstick has a creamy texture when applying and takes a bit to dry down. It took a full fifteen minutes after application before it was mostly transfer proof but even then it still transferred every once in a while. When it dried down it settled into every crack and fine line that I have. I’ll have to use this a few more times before I decide if I’ll be buying anymore Ofra Liquid Lipsticks. The next product was the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream which is a cult favorite. Sadly, I don’t see the appeal. I expected the scent to be this amazing beachy scent, however, it came off more perfumey than beachy and just irritated me. On Sephora it claims that the cream is supposed to tighten but I didn’t see that result either. I actually won’t be finishing this sample and will instead be passing it onto someone else who might want it. The next product was the trio of Luxie Brushes and I love all of them! I’ve been looking for a good duo fiber brush and the Luxie 516 is an amazing one. The other two brushes, a foundation and a highlighter brush, are amazing as well. There’s a reason why I keep all the Luxie brushes that I receive in subscription boxes. The last product was the Alamar Reina Del Caribe Vol. 1 Palette and aside from one of the mattes being a little patchy and one of the shades being blue which I tend to avoid, this was a great palette. I can’t wait for Gabby to release Volume 2!
July Boxycharm Unboxing: Chella Eyebrow Cream
The first product in my July Boxycharm box is the Chella Eyebrow Cream in the shade Tantalizing Taupe. One end of this stick is the cream and the other is the brush that you can use to fill in the brows. The Eyebrow Cream is $26.00, comes in 6 shades, and is available at Chella’s site here.
July Boxycharm Unboxing: Crown Eye Shadow Palette
The second product in my July Boxycharm box is the Crown Brush Fuego Eye Shadow Palette. This palette contains five matte and five shimmer shades, along with a mirror, and no brush. The Fuego Palette is $29.99 and is available at Crown’s site here.
July Boxycharm Unboxing: Dr. Brandt Eye Gel
The third product in my July Boxycharm box is the Dr. Brandt No More Baggage Eye De-Puffing Gel. This eye gel is supposed to help with puffy under eyes and dark circles. The Eye De-Puffing Gel is $42.00 and can be purchased from Sephora here.
July Boxycharm Unboxing: Note Blush
The fourth product in my July Boxycharm box is the Note Luminious Silk Compact Blush in the shade Desert Rose. This blush is formulated with argan oil to help prevent dryness. The Luminous Silk Blush retails for $11.99, comes in 8 shades, and can be purchased at Ulta here.
July Boxycharm Unboxing: Wander Mascara
The last product in my July Boxycharm box is the Wander Beauty Unleashed Volume and Curl Mascara in the shade black. This mascara comes in a squeeze style tube and is supposed to volumize, lengthen, strengthen, and condition the lashes. The Volume and Curl Mascara retails for $24.00, comes in only the one shade, and can be purchased at Sephora here.
Final Thoughts on July Boxycharm Unboxing
The monetary value of the July Boxycharm box is $133.98 and the personal value is a little lacking for me this month. I’m not a huge fan of Dr. Brandt products so the eye gel is kind of meh for me. The fact that Crown sells an eye shadow palette for $30 boggles my mind because I totally thought they were a more low cost brand. However, this doesn’t feel like a $30 quality palette to me. I’m not a huge fan of mascaras in squeeze tubes so the Wander Beauty Mascara is also a meh for me. Honestly, only the Note blusher and the Chella Eye Brow Cream have me intrigued and whether I like this is going to depend on the color match. As for the theme, I don’t understand how ANY of these products are “Roadtrippin” products. I would have expected more things that were either travel friendly (i.e. one of the Urban Decay Naked Basic Palettes, the Tarte All Eyes on You palette, or even the Tarte Pro Glow to Go palette) or even good for road trips like sun screen, after sun care, etc. Anywho, don’t forget to come back in August for the August Boxycharm Unboxing and the July Boxycharm Review!

What a lovely box of products. They look like they have some great stuff and their pricing isn’t bad at all for what you receive.
I have always heard that Dr. Brandt products were good, but I have never actually tried them before. However, it’s good to find honest feedback before making a splurge on their products!
I agree 100%, especially products that are as pricy as Dr. Brandt is.
I have never heard of the BoxyCharm subscription box but it looks like a good one! I love all of the products you got this month!
You have great products here! I really like th eye gel as one of my problem is the dark cirles and puffy eyes.
Now, this is a box I’d like to get my hands on. The contents happen to be things I currently need because I’ve used up my previous purchases.
Thanks for such a thorough review. I love beauty boxes but have not tried boxy charm yet. I was not getting a road tripping vibe from this box either. I am looking forward to your August review!
I love Ofra Cosmetics! I’ve never ordered a Boxycharm subscription box but there are some amazing things in there. I need both of those eyeshadow palettes ASAP!
These are such great colors. I’ve never heard of this service before, thank you so much for the review. I need that red!
