One day I will cover other nail polish brands, one day. However, today I am reviewing and swatching the Lights Lacquer Up to Snow Good Trio. This is a set of three mini polishes that are limited edition to the Lights Lacquer brand. If you want to know if you should pick these up while they are available, check out the video below or just keep scrolling.
About the Lights Lacquer Green Ornament Trio
This is a set of three miniature polishes that come packaged in a makeshift ornament. These three polishes were originally released in the Lights Lacquer 2020 Advent Calendar, however, Lights Lacquer decided to also release them in trio sets as well. You can purchase this green ornament set, a red ornament set (covered next week), and a treatment ornament set. The red and green ornament sets retail for $15.00 each while the treatment set retails for $18.00. All three can be purchased at Lights Lacquer.
As with all of their polishes, Lights Lacquer claims that their polishes are vegan, cruelty-free, and seven free. Lights Lacquer polishes come with a flat rounded brush and the mini polishes have the same shape just smaller. While Lights Lacquer polishes tend to have square bottles, these mini polishes actually have a rectangle bottle. The rectangle shape makes the bottle easy to hold, however, it is not as stable as the larger square bottles are due to the miniature size.
Lights Lacquer Up to Snow Good Trio Swatches
The first polish in the trio is Buddy. Buddy is a pistachio green creme polish. This is Buddy with the OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat, which has a glossy finish.
The name Buddy comes from the movie Elf, which I am sure a lot of you probably knew. This is Buddy with the OPI Matte Top Coat.
The second polish in the trio is Snow Boy. Snow Boy is a holographic silvery blue metallic polish. This is Snow Boy with the OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat, which has a glossy finish.
The name Snow Boy comes from the fact that Kathleen thought the polish looked like snow and she has several other polishes with the “Boy” name. This is Snow Boy with the OPI Matte Top Coat.
The last polish in the trio is Got You Cookie. Got You Cookie is an off-white, egg nog creme polish. This is Got You Cookie with the OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat, which has a glossy finish.
The name Got You Cookie comes from the show New Girl. This is Got You Cookie with the OPI Matte Top Coat.
Final Thoughts on the Lights Lacquer Green Ornament Trio
If you have tried any of the Lights Lacquer or KL Polish polishes before, then you will love these. If these are shades that you could see yourself wearing, then you will love these. Ultimately, the only reason to skip these in my opinion is if you either do not like the shades, do not like Kathleen Lights, or cannot get these shipped to where you live for a reasonable price.

I love mini polishes since I never finish a full size. I love Snow Boy and the green shade is so unusual, in a good way 😉 Well worth $15, I think
I love Snow Boy! That is a gorgeous shade!
These look really good. I like Buddy and the holo is lovely 😀 It is the kinda set I’d buy 😀
This seems to be your favorite brand of polish. I bet the other sets are cute too. Since I never come close to using a polish up this size would be handy. I like that Snowy one best.
