*Looks at title of post* sigh. Okay so in my defense A. I started a new project that I had to take a break from the blog to figure out how to divide my time between it and work. B. Travis did get admitted to the hospital which required emergency surgery and he is actually still on a Wound Vac for it. C. Someone said they would like to see a big catch-up unboxing. Therefore, I bring you 6 Months of Birchbox Unboxings. To see what I got in the last six months from Birchbox, check out the video below or just keep scrolling.

Final Thoughts on 6 Months of Birchbox Unboxings
While I loved being able to get caught up on all of my Birchboxes, I am not a fan of doing this many at one time. Especially when so many products came from the same brands (IPKN, Oribe, Lise Watier, Georgette Klinger, etc.). While taking pictures if more than one box fell on the floor and products spilled out, it took ten times longer to figure out what went where. I will say that doing this many at a time did let me see how many repeat brands and similar types of products there were in my boxes AND the fact that we get a lot of SPF products during the summer but none in the winter. All that being said, I do feel that I got my $13 worth on average.

I can only imagine that many months being hard work for this post! That would also annoy me, figuring out where things go 😐
I love that you receive a Davises Shampoo in the October box! I love their products so much!
It does look like you get a good value for the cost of the box. Have you done Ipsy or Boxycharm?
Ipsy, Boxycharm, and I are in a longtime on-again-off-again relationship. My first Ipsy bag was in 2012 and I think the last one I did was in 2017. During that time I unsubscribed and resubscribed sooo many times. Boxycharm is similar. I subscribed and loved it but then noticed that once they debuted their Premium box that the promise of “full-size” products in the base box became a lie, so I unsubscribed. I resubscribed again but found that a lot of their products were tending to be either skincare or from “boutique” brands that charge way more for products then you know that you would find them for in a store, in order to jack up the value of the box so I unsubscribed again.
How did you keep them all straight? You are loaded now with products to try. I don’t think Birchbox is the best value but as long as you get about 2 things per box that you are happy with then it’s worth it.
Post-Its, lots of post-its lol.
I’m not impressed with Birchbox, I prefer Boxycharm though I think it’s a bit more expensive.
First, I am so sad to hear that Travis has not been well, and that he had to have emergency surgery. Fingers crossed that he will recover and be better. I can’t believe how much you have on your plate, all the time. xoxo Second, I took this as an overview of Birchbox. I used to subscribe years ago, so I enjoyed seeing what their boxes had in them this past year. I also am glad that Georgette Klinger is participating. I used to go to Georgette Klinger Salons/Spas in New York, Dallas, Houston, and I think Chicago years ago. The family sold the company, and the company who bought it killed the brand completely. Another family member bought back the name a few years ago and reformulated/updated all the skincare products, though sadly they haven’t reopened the day spas. Also, I love Davines, and I saw that in one of the boxes. You definitely got your money’s worth
That’s a decent selection of products, but it makes me realize why I stopped getting similar boxes- I tend to skip over samples and minis (I save them for the “perfect time”, a time that never really comes around) and they just pile up.
