I had a whole intro written about how I’ve been sitting with the Juvia’s Place Nubian 3 Coral Palette since last year, then I went to Ulta and checked my order history and I only purchased this in April of this year… That’s how quarantine is going for me. I purchased something and used it during quarantine and thought it a year ago -.- If you want to know my thoughts and to see swatches, just keep scrolling.

Juvia’s Place Nubian 3 Coral Palette Swatches
The shadows for this palette do not have names. Way to make that difficult for reviewers… Anywho.
- Swatch 1: Silver with a shimmer formula
- Swatch 2: Grey with a matte formula
- Swatch 3: Grey with a shimmer formla
- Swatch 4: Champagne with a shimmer formla
These shimmer shadows are all amazing. While the grey matte is patchy and does take some building up, it still blended well.
- Swatch 1: Copper with a shimmer formula
- Swatch 2: Dark brown with a matte formula
- Swatch 3: Bronzer with a shimmer formula
- Swatch 4: Light brown with a matte formula
All of the shadows in this row performed amazingly. The copper shimmer does have a bit of kick up, just make sure to knock your brush or wet the brush.
- Swatch 1: Pink based coral with a matte formula
- Swatch 2: Taupe with a matte formula
- Swatch 3: Bright gold with a shimmer formula
- Swatch 4: Orange based coral with a mate formula
The shadows in this row are all amazing as well.

Oh wow the first 2 rows are awesome colours not too keen on the last row though! Pretty cool packing too 😀
These are my kind of shades: grey and corals. I wish I could justify getting a new palette coz this would be it. Plus I have wanted to try Juvia’s Place
*waves hand like a Sith Lord* You can always justify a palette
With the exception of the one patchy swatch, the palette is gorgeous! And $20 is definitely an amazing deal. I will check it out when I’m out shopping again (hopefully soon).
The grey swatched badly but actually performed really well on the eye.
What a pretty palette. The grey was definitely a bit patchy, but the color story is no fantastic!
I agree it came out patchy in the swatch, however, it performed really well on the eye.
I was very disappointed in this palette. The mattes faded quickly and some of the shimmers in my palette were very hard. Maybe I got a loser palette.
I did not have an issue with hardness from the shimmers and the mattes lasted about 6 – 8 hours without primer for me when I was testing it. I have heard that there are inconsistencies with formula when it comes to some of the Juvia’s Place palettes. I know several people who loved the little palettes that came out recently but I also know several people who said they were all patchy and didn’t perform well.
I’ve only bought one Juvia’s Place palette and was amazed at the depth of the pigment. Most of the palettes are too warm or bright for me but I’m impressed with them.
Some of the newer smaller palettes have some neutral color stories that you’d probably like. I’ll be reviewing those over the next few weeks as well.
