Origins GinZing Skin Care Review || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #origins #pr

A few weeks ago I received three Origins GinZing Skin Care products from Influenster box in partnership with Origins Skin Care. Influenster is a site that you signup for, review products, and you can occasionally receive boxes of products to review for free. I’ve seen people get some VERY nice products and I’ve seen people never get a single box so it’s very hit-and-miss. Anywho, I received the box and did my first impressions of the three products I received, you can read that blog post here and see the YouTube video here, and now it’s time for my actual review of the products. After using these Origins GinZing Skin Care products for several weeks I’m ready to share my full review! Keep scrolling or check out the video below for my review!

Origins GinZing Skin Care Cleanser

Claims: 2-in-1 Cleanser | Smooths Skin | Brightens Skin | Useable in AM and PM | All Skin Types

Size: 5 oz.

Price: $20.50

Purchase: Sephora | Ulta | Nordstrom | Birchbox

Origins GinZing Skin Care Review Cleanser || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #origins #pr

Starting with the Origins GinZing Refreshing Scrub Cleanser. This is a gel based cleanser that contains scrub beads on the inside. I liked the fact that the cleanser was gel based instead of a more liquid base, it actually made it easier to work with. I also liked the beads that were in the cleanser, they gave a nice gently exfoliation without being to rough on the skin. This means that it will be gentle enough for dry and sensitive skin. I also really enjoyed the citrus scent when using it in the mornings as it was a very energizing scent. I found that I really like this cleanser for a nice gentle cleanse in the morning and the evenings where I didn’t wear makeup earlier in the day. Due to my uneasiness of using the Refreshing Scrub Cleanser with my Clarisonic I don’t use it when I’m wanting a deep clean on my skin.

Origins GinZing Skin Care Eye Cream

Claims: Brightening Eye Cream | Reduces Dark Circles | Depuffs Eyes | Useable in AM | All Skin Types

Size: 0.5 oz.

Price: $31.00

Purchase: Sephora | Ulta | Nordstrom | Birchbox

Origins GinZing Skin Care Review Eye Cream || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #origins #pr

Moving onto the Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. This is an eye cream that is peach in color, has a thicker consistency, and smells a bit like “makeup”. The Refreshing Eye Cream is designed to help with dark circles and puffiness, the peach color is what helps with the dark circles. I have circles that are so bad that I use color correctors along with concealer and I have found that using this eye cream actually makes it where I don’t need to use color correctors at all! I’ve also found that using the Refreshing Eye Cream has made it where my under eye area is hydrated to the point that makeup no longer looks dry or cakey when applied to that area. My only real complaints about this eye cream are that the scent instead of being citrus based like the other two products is strongly of makeup, that does fade after working the product in but if you sniff the product before applying you will get it a whiff of it. My other issue is how thick the product is, due to it’s thicker consistency it can take awhile for the product to work in to the point that it may not get all the way worked in if you use to much!

Origins GinZing Skin Care Moisturizer

Claims: Gel Moisturizer | Instantly Hydrates | Oil-Free | Coffee for Anti-Aging | Useable in the AM and PM

Size: 1.7 oz.

Price: $28.50

Purchase: Sephora | Ulta | Nordstrom | Birchbox

Origins GinZing Skin Care Review Moisturizer || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #origins #pr

The last product, Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer. This is a gel moisturizer that is oil-free and lightweight. This would have to be, hands-down, my current favorite moisturizer! The gel consistency makes it where I feel that I don’t have to use a huge amount to get the same amount of hydration. To go along with that the Gel Moisturizer leaves my skin feeling so hydrated that I don’t feel that I have to add oil boosters like I do with all my other moisturizers! Now this does have the same citrus scent that the cleanser has, however, it’s not as strong and it doesn’t last once the product is blended into the skin.

Final Thoughts on Origins GinZing Skin Care

Origins GinZing Skin Care Review Final Thoughts || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #origins #pr

Overall I liked all three of the Origins GinZing Skin Care products that I received, and all three would be repurchases for me! I do think that all would be useable by all skin types, however, my oily-skin people may want to head to Sephora for a sample of the moisturizer as a “just in case” before purchasing. One thing I do want to mention is that the citrus scent of the products is NOT due to an added fragrance, instead it is because of the actual ingredients in the products!

I’ve eyed off a few origins products but am yet to try any. I really like the idea of ginzing in a beauty product and want to give this range a try!

The Origins eye cream looks great. I think a good eye cream really makes all the difference. So, if you find one that works, it’s for sure a keeper!

I love the Origins products. I remember my grandmother was very “hip” when it came to beauty products. She ordered from a fancy Mary Kay lady, and would shop at The Body Shop in the mall and buy what she didn’t get from Mary Kay. She introduced me to Origins!

Aw how lucky you were to receive the origin products and the fresh scent sounds wonderful. It is great that it cleanses the skin well and is gentle enough for sensitive skin x

I used to always go by the Origins store in the mall but never stopped. Is it weird to say that this stuff looks like it will smell good?

I’ve heard of this brand before but didn’t get to try them yet. Those look like amazing products and wish maybe that they have vanilla scented ones too.
