July Supers and Poopers || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

It’s time for my monthly beauty favorites, however, starting this month we’re going to be calling it something different…Are you ready for the July Supers and Poopers? I wanted to come up something catchy for my monthly favorites and the Hubs thought since I said super ALL THE TIME that including that was a must…and well the only thing we could think to go with it was poopers haha! Seriously though, to go along with the name change there will also be a format change as well. From here on out there will be 5 Supers and 3 Poopers. Check out my July Supers and Poopers with the video below or by scrolling down!

If you can’t see the above video, click here.

July Supers and Poopers: Supers

July Supers and Poopers Philosophy Purity Wipes || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

The first item to make my supers list was the Philosophy Purity Makeup Wipes. I find that I actually like these more than the Philosophy Purity Cleanser! They remove just about all of my makeup, are tough enough to remove even the most stubborn mascara but gentle enough to actually use on my eyes. NOTE: Do not open your eyes while wiping with these! While I like to multi-cleanse, I would feel secure enough leaving these on my nightstand as an emergency wipe if I just didn’t feel up to getting up and removing my makeup.

July Supers and Poopers Lipsense || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

I can already feel the angry comments coming from having this on my list. That being said on my blog and YouTube channel you ALWAYS get my honest opinions and honestly I have been loving my Lipsense bundle lately. The shade I received is amazing, the gloss keeps my lips moisturized, and even the remover removes the color without drying out my lips! While I don’t think Lipsense is for everyone, I like what I’ve tried and it is working for me.

July Supers and Poopers Nail Butter || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

A few years back I was sent some Nail Butter which is a cuticle cream and I never got a chance to actually cover it on the blog. I think it got put to the side and I just forgot about it. Which I hate because I LOVE this product. I apply it to my cuticles right after my top coat dries and I also apply it in the evenings and when I remember to do it my nails look AMAZING! I can always start to tell when I’ve been forgetting to apply the nail butter as my cuticles will start looking rough and ragged. Another thing that I love is how amazing the packaging is!

July Supers and Poopers Yes to Spray || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

If you’ve been around for awhile then you know that I suffer from eczema. I find that good lotions and moisturizers can help with getting rid of the patches, basically just hitting them with tons of hydration. However, when the patches are first coming in, or the really stubborn patches, they itch like crazy. In these instances I’ve started using the Yes to Coconut Eczema Relief Spray which I have now realized is discontinued! That sucks so much because this stuff works so well. It’s like spraying instant relief and hydration on the patches. I actually find that this spray works the best for the smaller patches on my face. I’m such a sad panda that this has been discontinued!

July Supers and Poopers World of Warcraft || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

The last item in my supers is World of Warcraft. Back before I switched from general lifestyle to beauty blogging and got hardcore into blogging and YouTubing I use to play WoW. I actually stopped because the laptops we were using just couldn’t handle it anymore, my whole home row died, and I was entering Cosmetology School. However, now I have an upgraded computer and classes aren’t as hectic so I’ve gone back to playing and I can tell you I MISSED it like ain’t nobody’s business. I met a lot of great people through WoW and while they don’t currently play, playing the game makes me remember the fun times we had while building new memories with new friends. WoW is constantly the same while constantly changing and I love that about it.

July Supers and Poopers: Poopers

July Supers and Poopers Formula X Remover || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

The first item to make my poopers list was the Formula X Delete All Polish Remover. Now this wasn’t a dislike due to the formula as this remover is hands-down my favorite fingernail polish remover of ALL TIME! However, this packaging was HORRIBLE. The cap didn’t thread back onto the container correctly so the remover dried up after only a few uses. What makes this even sadder is that Sephora is now discontinuing all Formula X products which sucks worse than the Yes to Coconut spray as this line really was amazing!

July Supers and Poopers KL Polish || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

Adding the KL Polish MIA to my poopers list just hurts my soul like you wouldn’t believe. I am a huge fan of KathleenLights, I have covered all of the KL Polish collections on my blog and YouTube channel without any of them being PR, and pink is one of my favorite colors. I was set for this to be not only my favorite KL Polish shade but my favorite nail polish shade ever…and boy was I disappointed. I just can not make this formula work for me no matter how much I want to!

July Supers and Poopers USPS || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #beautyguru #favorites

The last item to make my poopers list is my branch of the USPS. I just don’t think it’s possible for them to get anything right. We got a PO Box because the mail carrier who delivers the mail to our house REFUSES to deliver packages to us. Yes you read that correctly, she refuses to do her actual job. And before I get it, no we do not live in a non-deliverable area as FedEx and UPS have no issues getting packages to us and the fill-in carrier has no problem delivering anything when the original carrier is on vacation. After complaining multiple times with nothing being done we were told the best thing to do was to get a PO Box so we did. The first PO Box we had was in another town and we had to windup moving it closer as the school was in another direction from that town. We were told when we moved PO Boxes to put in a mail forward so that anything sent to the original PO Box would get forwarded and not sent back. We switched the PO Box to our town as we were told that we could also bypass the mail carrier that way and have packages held at the post office even if they were addressed to the house. We have had this arrangement for around 3 years and a month or so ago the mail carrier (the same one that won’t do her job) leaves a message with the counter person that we need to install a mailbox at our house as she will no longer be leaving our mail at the PO b/c it’s to confusing…UM….well…okay the problem with that is THERE IS A MAILBOX AT OUR HOUSE AND SHE LEAVES OUR MAIL IN IT ALL THE FREAKING TIME. They found out real, quick, fast, and in a hurry that I was not putting up with that. However, that isn’t the only issue we’ve had. Our mail comes from Augusta, GA to our town and the person who brings it from Augusta can’t seem to figure out that it goes from Augusta, GA to our town. They seem to think it goes Augusta, GA back to Augusta, GA then leaves Augusta again to return to Augusta. Complaining about that with tracking as proof hasn’t produced any results either. Here’s hoping that one day they get their act together but I’m not holding my breath.

What a great list of supers! I love the Yesto products and Philosphy. I will keep lipsense comments to myself. Sorry! Ohhh, the poopers, I have the exact same color in China Glaze (I think is the brand) and I love it!

I love the honesty in your posts and saying its a pooper if it is. I love all wipes but I will have to try Philosophy. Leave it to you to find great nail butter.

For one, I just love the title of these posts! I also used to play WoW a long time ago and sometimes I actually miss is too! I have no time with 2 kids to play anymore, and I hate that is is pay per month but I remember really enjoying it.

Supers and Poopers, what a great name for a likes and dislikes list. I love the Yes to Coconuts line. Everything I’ve tried has been great. Will have to check out the spray you mentioned. I don’t have Eczema, but it might help my really dry spots.

I have been completely addicted to my lipsense for the last three months. I am just so surprised that it is really been everything I had hoped it would be in a lipstick. Glad i’m not alone!

Thanks for sharing your views on these products. Honestly, I have not tried any of them except the KL nail polish. I always go for deep reds. I haven’t tried that shade of pink yet. I am sorry it did not work for you.
