I received the Walmart Summer Beauty Box a few weeks ago and am finally getting around to sharing about it. In all honesty I opened the box, ohhed and awed over everything in it, and then set it on my mantle and forgot about it…until Ducky was lured in by it’s bright colors and crafty boxiness that is. So let’s open the Walmart Summer Beauty Box and see what’s inside shall we?
imPRESS One-Step Gell Nails || Press-on manicure nails that last 2x longer.
Thoughts: I’m not a big fan of press-on nails due to the fact that most of my nails tend to be odd shaped. Due to this the nails just look overly fake and not really professional. I’m sure that others would love these though as the design is super cute.

Pantene Dream Care Shampoo || Fuels hair with a potent blend of Pro-V nutrients and antioxidants.
Thoughts: I use to love using Pantene Pro-V when I was younger, it made me feel grown-up, but I stopped using it as I got older due to just how dry my hair was and I felt that Pantene shampoos just never provided enough moisture. While I don’t think this would be a good shampoo in the winter when my hair is at its driest, I do think this makes a great summer shampoo.

Pantene Pro-V Dream Care Conditioner || This luxurious cream helps to visibly replenish dry, lifeless hair from root to tip
Thoughts: The Pantene Pro-V Dream Care Conditioner smells sooo good. It doesn’t have that “conditioner” scent that a lot of Pantene products have, instead it has a bit of a kind of fruit scent to it. I also love the packaging for this sample size conditioner.

göt2b Styling Gel
göt2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel || Non-sticky, no-flake formula is powered by a high-tech styling agent that locks almost any style in place.
Thoughts: I don’t actually use styling gel for myself so this product is a bit of a waste on me. HOWEVER, I do have a freelance kit that this might be useful in so I’m going to toss it in there on the off-chance that I MAY need it. I wouldn’t purchase a full-size for myself but this travel size is perfect.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes || Gently cleanses skin of impurities and unclogs pores
Thoughts: I LOVE Simple Facial Wipes, any type of them, so another pack of these is excellent. I’ll actually probably pop these in my purse to use when I’m out and about and need to clean my face, hands, etc.
Purchase Simple Wipes
EcoTools Mask Remover Sponges || For quick, mess-free removal of facial masks.
Thoughts: I love the idea of these sponges and was actually going to pick up a pack when I was at Walmart and I’m now glad that I didn’t! I’m actually thinking about using these with a mask soon to review both of them for you!
Purchase EcoTools Sponges
Real Techniques Shampoo
Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel || Simple way to remove oils, impurities, and makeup weekly.
Thoughts: I’m a little hit-and-miss on this Brush Cleansing Gel. I like that on the card that came with it that it states to use weekly. I’m big on spot-cleaning brushes as you use them and deep cleaning them each week so that was a plus. However, I don’t like that the instructions say to put some of the gel into water, swirl the brush, and then rinse. Should I then pour out that part after washing one brush? Or should I do this for every brush. I’ll have to do more research on this before I give an opinion.

Final Thoughts on Walmart Summer Beauty Box
When it comes to the Walmart Beauty Box the value of the products does tend to be a bit low due to how cheap you can get beauty products at Walmart. When it comes to the Walmart Beauty Box it’s all about personal value over product value. For me the Walmart Summer Beauty Box was a total hit. While there were some products that I probably won’t use myself I can either gift it because it’s a full-size (the nails) or I can throw it in my kit (styling gel) and the other products were all great!
