A few weeks ago Boxycharm showed a sneak peek for their August box, a full-size Tarte Eyeshadow Palette. When I saw that I KNEW I had to finally get on the Boxycharm bandwagon. So keep scrolling to see my July Boxycharm Unboxing and my thoughts on my first ever Boxycharm box!
Project Beauty Setting Spray
Project Beauty Spray.Set.Go Makeup Setting Spray | Makeup Setting Spray with Wild Chamomile, Rosehip and Green Tea Extracts locks your makeup in place.
Thoughts: Now I’m not one to turn down a makeup setting spray and I sure won’t be turning this one down either. It left my skin nicely moisturized but not oily, smelled like suntan lotion but not in a way that lingered, and while the mister was a bit chunky it’ll make it where I actually hold a setting spray where it’s intended to be sprayed from…

Winky Lux Brow Pencil
Winky Lux Unibrow Pencil | A universally flattering pencil that works on every brow.
Thoughts: First off I was a little confused about what this product was as there was NO outer boxing or card included to tell me. After realizing that both ends opened I put together that it was a brow pencil and I was excited…and then I went and got the link for this post and realized it was called the “Winky Lux Unibrow Pencil”…really?! *sigh* okay I guess I can use a product called “Unibrow Pencil” and everyone will totally get the companies little play on words and won’t make fun of me all over the Internet.

ColourPop Liquid Lipstick
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Lock Diary | High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form.
Thoughts: I was super excited to see a ColourPop lippie in my box! Yes even one that is from a no longer available collection. Especially since it’s a color that I actually like from that collection and don’t actually already have, bonus Jonas right there!

blinc Eyeshadow Palette
blinc Eyeshadow Palette in Electric Eyes | Includes five luxurious metallic jewel tones.
Thoughts: While this palette is branded with a Boxycharm logo making one think that it is only available via the subscription this isn’t quite true. You can pick up this palette, if you’d like, through blinc for $45…the better deal was to have subscribed for July’s Boxycharm but if you MUST have this and missed it then you can still get it.

bareMinerals Powder Duo
bareMinerals Invisible Light Translucent Powder Duo | Developed to instantly vanish on all skin tones, diffuses the look of pores and imperfections to give your complexion an effortlessly fresh look.
Thoughts: I was super excited to see a bareMinerals product in my July Boxycharm Unboxing. These powders really do vanish on the skin and the glow powder leaves a nice glow behind. They also feel REALLY soft to the touch and leave the skin feeling the same!

Final Thoughts on July Boxycharm Unboxing
I was thrilled by the products that were in my July Boxycharm and that makes me even more excited for August’s box. The box had a high value of $127, however, I feel that the fact that they included a lip product from a sold-out ColourPop collection is a bonus. Yeah that collection was around awhile ago but if you’re a Hello Kitty fan and you didn’t know about ColourPop when it was available you could still possibly get one of the lippies from the collection. Makes me wonder if you might see some other brands collaborations in Boxycharm in the future…
