Awhile back I noticed that more and more beauty guru’s were talking about the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. As more people started talking about it I got intrigued, is it really as good as they were claiming. Of course after a bit I HAD to jump on the bandwagon and find out for myself if it really was as great as people were saying it was. If you want to know if the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm is a get or skip, just keep reading or check out the video below!

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm: Information

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm Packaging || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #clinique

The Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm is a solid makeup remover that comes in a plastic container with a twist-off cap. The Cleansing Balm starts as a solid and as you rub it across the face it turns from a solid to an oil. The Cleansing Balm is non-greasy and non-drying so it can be used by any skin type. To go along with that the Cleansing Balm is ophthalmologist and allergy tested along with being 100% fragrance free so it can also be used by people with sensitive skin.

Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Polyethylene, PEG-5 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Water / Aqua / Eau, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm: How to Use

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm Results || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #clinique

The Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm is used by scooping the balm out of the container. This can be done either with the fingers or a spatula. Once you have the Cleansing Balm out of the container you apply it to the face allowing the oil that it melts into to mix with any makeup (including waterproof), sunscreen, etc. to break it down. Once you have worked the balm onto the face you would then need to remove it, this can be done by either rinsing the face with water or a wet washcloth. There is no need to allow the balm to sit for minutes, use a device, or anything else. Once the balm has broken down the makeup and been rinsed off you are done.

Clinique Take the Day off Cleansing Balm: Final Thoughts

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm Final Thoughts || Southeast by Midwest #beauty #bbloggers #clinique

After using the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm to remove several different types of makeup I am SOOO glad that I decided to purchase to try out. The Cleansing Balm is more than worth the cost and I not only recommend it to try but actually to add as a permanent addition to your skin care routine, I will be adding it to mine! My only real complaint about the Cleansing Balm is that it can be a bit unhygienic to use. That’s why I choose to use mine with a scoop that I sanitize before each use. I highly recommend that if you purchase this that you do the same, however, that is entirely up to you!

I have always trusted Clinique products so I will try this even though I rarely wear a lot of makeup. Great idea for the scoop to keep things clean.

If this was in a different type of container I would totally be done! I hadn’t thought of using a scoop you could sanitize before and after. I do love clinique products!

I’ve heard amazing things about this balm but have yet to try it. I wish they sold it with a scoop or spatula so you didn’t have to dig your hands into it.

Same! I actually wound up just using a spatula that I already had for products in jars like this and I sanitize it before and after each use.

I’ve also been curious to see how this balm worked. So many times products get hyped but when you try them for yourself they fall short. Glad to see this one lives up to its reputation.

I need to start taking my makeup off at night. I know…bad of me. Maybe this product could help get my mascara off easier.

100% assuming this product is great based off the awesome packaging. As far as price and how long a jar lasts, it is economical?

For me I believe it is just due to how well it removes makeup. I was able to scoop out a small amount and use it to get an entire face of makeup off with hardly any effort. I went behind with a makeup wipe and there was nothing left to get. Now with makeup wipes it can take me three wipes to get just about all of the makeup but I still feel that I need to go in more as you can see it in the pores, this was not the case with the Clinique.

It sounds like a good product but I am not sure what you mean when you say unhygienic to use, and needs to be sanitized before each use…I might just be lost in translation.

As a Cosmetologist I’m very big on everything being sanitary. With this product, due to how it’s designed, if I dip my fingers in I just contaminated the whole jar for being able to use it on anyone else (like clients). However, if I were to sanitize a scoop or spatula, dip that into the product, grab the product off, and then apply to the face I could then take the container and use it on anyone else as it has not been contaminated. While this product is amazing as is I just wish Clinique had taken that one extra step and either sold it with a scoop / spatula or sold them separately.
