I was sent a few bottles of Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment to try out. Before trying it the only thing I really knew about Living Proof was that Jennifer Aniston was a co-owner of the company. I did a little research about the Perfect Hair Day line and after reading I was super excited to give it a try.
The Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment comes in a flip top bottle which I really like. It’s super easy to pop open and close and the nozzle itself is designed in a way that a light squeeze will give you a good amount of product. I also find that the way that the flip top cap is designed it makes keeping the nozzle clean a breeze.
The Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment cream is a semi-thick white cream. It’s thick enough that it won’t slip off/through your fingers but it’s not so thick that it’s hard to run through your hair. It dissolves into the hair and dries clear without leaving any residue.
The Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment says that it gives you “beautiful, healthy hair in one step”. It claims to smooth, volumize, condition, strengthen, and polish. I can attest that after several weeks of using my hair feels healthier than it has in ages. With a combination of the Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment and a few other products I’ve managed to have gorgeous healthy hair and not have any eczema flare ups! Plus it’s easy to use!

Step One
I start out with damp hair, while I’ve tried the Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment on dry hair it works the best on wet hair, if I washed my hair the night before then I use a spritz bottle to get it damp again. I find it easiest to apply this way instead of sitting straight up.
Step Two
I then apply a little of the Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment to my finger and work it around my fingers before finger combing it through my hair.
Step Three
Once I’m done finger combing it through my hair I’ll stand backup up and then run a brush through my hair to help evenly distribute it through my hair. This step also helps to get out any tangles that may be hiding in my hair before moving onto the next step.
Step Four
After brushing the Living Proof 5-in-1 Styling Treatment through my hair I then blow dry my hair using a round brush to get that kind of blow-out look. While it is not necessary to complete this step, I currently do because it’s been so cold out lately.
Finished Look
This is what my hair looks like once I’m finished. Not frizzy at all and silk as can be. When you run your hands through it it feel so soft and not crunchy at all.

I cut most of my hair off a year ago and am in the process of growing it back out a tad. This treatment could definitely help with my volume issues and get me through the “awkward stages” of the grow out.
