January Ipsy

It's time for the January Ipsy Unboxing. The Fresh Start January Ipsy Bag contained items from Teadora, Pacifica, Astrida, Hikari and Probelle

So I decided to resubscribe to Ipsy. If you’ve been around for awhile then you’ll know that I use to subscribe to Ipsy but that I cancelled. It should be noted that Ipsy costs $10/month and you get 4-5 beauty samples that always tend to run from deluxe to full-size. I tell you this because the value wasn’t why I cancelled before, it was the shipping. While Ipsy‘s shipping has gotten better it can still take awhile to get to you.

Make sure to watch the January Ipsy Unboxing video above. If you can’t see the above video click here

Hikari Eyeliner

One item in the January Ipsy Bag was a Hikari Eyeliner

The first item in my January Ipsy bag was a Hikari Eyeliner in Storm. While I liked that this was a full-size product it was a bit rough for an eyeliner. It wasn’t creamy at all and it drug and pulled on the skin when swatching.

Teadora Rainforest at Dusk Body Cream

One of the items in the January Ipsy bag was a Teadora Rainforest at Dusk Body Cream

The second item in my January Ipsy bag was a deluxe sample of Teadora‘s Rainforest at Dusk Body Cream. The sample size for the body cream was great, Teadora actually sales this exact size on their site, and a good way to try it out.

Pacifica Coconut Eye Shadow

One item in the January Ipsy bag was a Pacifica Coconut Eye Shadow

The third item in my January Ipsy bag was a Pacifica Coconut Shadow in Ethereal. This was actually a very cool product, this is a sample of Pacifica‘s palettes but it’s still a full-size shadow. So cool! As for the product itself, it didn’t smell at all of coconut and had good pigmentation.

Probelle Nail Lacquer

One item in the January Ipsy bag was a Probelle Nail Lacquer in Into the Blue

The fourth item in my January Ipsy was a Probelle Nail Lacquer in Into the Blue. While the swatches I have seen of this looked pretty I’m just not in love with the color. I’ll probably trade this to someone who really wants it.

Astrida Lip Balm

One item in the January Ipsy bag was an Astrida Lip Balm in Orange Mint

The last item that was in my January Ipsy bag was an Astrida Lip Balm in Orange Mint. The scent for this smells so good, it’s mainly mint with a hint of citrus behind it. As soon as the Hubs smelled this he called dibs.

The January Ipsy Bag Contents

My January Ipsy bag cost me $10 and I received $36.09 worth of products! My favorite item from this month’s bag is the Teadora Body Cream. I usually love most of lotions, as long as the scents aren’t off putting, so this was perfect for me. My least favorite item from this month’s bag was the Hikari Eyeliner, it was just way to rough for an eyeliner for me.

So sad about the Hikari liner! I wonder if it was just dried out or if the product itself just sucks… sidenote: I love your nailpolish color! I painted mine with something very similar today 🙂

This looks great. I did ipsy for awhile, but haven’t gotten one in a long time. Maybe I should again.

I’m so picky about eyeliners! MAC and sephora are my favorite.
