As I mentioned in my October Birchbox post, I received the October Birchbox in the middle of November and then my November Birchbox at the end. When I saw the spoiler video for November I knew I had to resubscribe to get the box. The fact that I would get the October box before the November box was unknown to me at the time. When I first found out I was a bit peeved, however, the fact that both boxes turned out to be awesome made me quickly change my mind on that.
Make sure to watch the November Birchbox unboxing video (if you can’t see it above then you can head over to YouTube to view it by clicking here) as that’s where swatches will be.
The first item in my November Birchbox was the Eyeko Fat Eye Stick in Satin Taupe. I like to use items like this as an eye shadow base beneath other colors. This shade is a gorgeous color for the holidays and also for nights out.
The next item that was in my November Birchbox was the Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner. The Vacuum Cleaner is the whole reason that I wanted to resubscribe to Birchbox, I’ve wanted to try it since I’ve first heard about it. I like that it doesn’t have a medicinal type scent to it.
While I usually love getting lotions in my subscription boxes I just wasn’t in love with the one in my November Birchbox. While the Camille Beckman Platinume Hand Therapy has a nice scent, Lemongrass and Grapefruit, I had already received it in a recent Glossybox. It didn’t help matters that the Glossybox version was not only bigger but it’s inner opening had a seal that the Birchbox version didn’t.
The next item that I received in my November Birchbox was the Not Soap, Radio Body Wash. The scent that I received was Joy Inducing. I like the little saying that they include on the bottle and the scent is amazing, a nice sweet lemon scent. Below is what the bottle says:
When life gives you one too many lemons (and you’ve misplaced your happy place…)
The next item that I received in my November Birchbox was a huge disappointment. I personally do not like it when an item that is supposed to be one of the ones that I pay for is a foil packet sample. While I like that they included the primer and two lip colors I wish that they had only included one and made it in a small lipstick tube.
The last item that was in my November Birchbox was the extra item of Justin’s Almond Butter. This item is similar to Nutella and should be amazing. I really can’t wait to try it.

Camille Beckman Platinume Hand Therapy | 0.25 oz. | 6 oz. | $20.00 | $0.83 |
Not Soap, Radio Body Wash | 1.5 oz. | 13.6 oz. | $16.00 | $1.76 |
Justin’s Almond Butter | 1.15 oz. | 11.50 oz. | $11.99 | $1.20 |
Total | $21.18 |
My November Birchbox cost me $10 and I received $21.18 worth of products. My favorite item from this month’s box is the Dr. Brandt Vacuum Cleaner as it’s been on my wishlist since I tried the Dr. Brandt Pore No More Primer. My least favorite item from this months box was the Make Lipstick set, with packaging like this I will probably only get one use for each item and it’s not very sanitary either. Make sure to come back next week to see whats in my November Glossybox!

i’ve never subscribed to birchbox before, but it overall looks like a great box. 🙂 i probably would have been upset with the lip samples too though. i’m really curious about the vacuum cleaner. 🙂

Overall sounds and looks like a disappointing box for november, I sub’d to birchbox once and never went back, sometimes they have nice items but most times other boxes have them and better

I just stopped subscribing to Birchbox in November — now I wish I had gotten a box. I had the subscription for a year and it seemed about half the items were things I would never really use. I’m getting ipsy now.

I have a question, if these are samples are they not a one use thing anyways? I always wondered about these boxes but I jsut dont understand them
Cassie says
It depends on the sample on if you could get more than one use, usually though you can get multiple uses out of them. In this particular box the Eyeko Eye Stick, the hand lotion, the Dr. Brandt, and the body wash will for sure get more than one use. The hand lotion and body wash are the sizes you would find in the travel section of Target or Walmart and the Eyeko Eye stick is a full-size product. You probably COULD get more than one use out of the lipstick samples BUT it would be very unsanitary due to the packaging, same with the almond butter. However, with the almond butter you can actually buy them individually this size at Kroger. Hope that helps.

I’ve never subscribed to a beauty box but I love reading the unboxing posts. This looks like a really disappointing box to me though, I don’t think I’d use anything in it and the foil lip colours are really disappointing so I don’t blame you for being annoyed with that.
