If you read my Holiday Cookies and Ice Cream post the other day then you know that the one thing we love in our house around the holidays is quick and simple things. We are so busy during the holidays that we often don’t have time to make elaborate appetizers for our get togethers and prepackaged fair is often times to bland for the Hubs. Instead, I look for things that are not easy to make (hello four ingredients!) but quick as well! When I stumbled upon the KRAFT Hot Artichoke Dip recipe on their site I knew I just had to make it.
The KRAFT Hot Artichoke dip uses only four ingredients and three of those you might just already have in your house. It uses KRAFT Mayo Real Mayonnaise, KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, garlic and artichoke hearts. If your house is anything like our house then your probably already have the garlic, KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese and the KRAFT Mayo Real Mayonnaise Therefore only needing to head to Walmart to buy artichoke hearts and something to use as a dip.
Not only are the ingredients super easy to get together but the actual recipe itself is as well. After measuring out the ingredients the only step is to mix them ALL together. I made sure to mix ours until the ingredients were well incorporated and you couldn’t really tell what the items that were originally put into the bowl were. The recipe just calls for “until blended” but I wanted to make sure that all the flavors were well blended together.
After mixing the ingredients together the next step is to spread into a 9″ pie plate. I used a glass pie plate because I thought that would be prettier for serving our guests at our parties. It looks pretty but still looks homey as well.
After baking until lightly browned all that is required is to let it cool enough so that you don’t scorch your mouth. That will depend on your personal preference, personally we enjoy ours within a few minutes after coming out of the oven.
What you choose to partner your KRAFT Hot Artichoke Dip with is entirely up to you. We chose two different types of crackers to have with ours, the first a spicy buffalo flavor and the other a brown rice version that was seasoned with sea salt and cracked pepper. The spicy buffalo really was the best with the dip as the spiciness partnered really well with the creaminess of the KRAFT Mayo Real Mayonnaise.
All that’s left after baking and picking out your dipping items is to just DIP. One of the great things about the KRAFT Hot Artichoke Dip is how sturdy it is for dipping. I hate when things either just slide off the cracker or are so tough that it breaks the cracker while your dipping. This dip didn’t have either of those problems and was so yummy.
As you can see from this image using the listed ingredients and following the directions my came out looking almost like theirs! I would say that’s pretty good for a not only a nonfood blogger but an all around novice chef. If I can do it then you can as well and if you need more inspiration, check out the Cooking Up Good website. It has recipes, sweepstakes, loyalty programs, coupons and more! So make sure to check it out.

Great review and demo! I love how easy it was for you to create the hot artichoke dip. I already used the Parmesan cheese in the past and loved it! Artichoke is also one of my favorite veggies especially in dip form. Your pictures are so delicious! I can see this also working with spinach and the mayo and cheese. Great post and I love Kraft products!

I really enjoy warm dips like this. I’d probably add some spinach too and make it spinach artichoke dip but I love spinach!
