Chelsee over at Southern Beauty Guide hosts a swap a few times a year. I had participated before and thought it would be fun to participate again. This go-round I was partnered with Niki from My Life Remixing. We talked back and forth for a little awhile and then built and shipped our packages. You can see what I sent her by clicking here.

Polishes

The first thing I noticed in my box was a big ziplock bag. Inside of that ziplock bag were all but one of my items, each with their own individual bag. Four of those bags contained Essie nail polishes. All of these Essie polishes are gorgeous shades and one has been on my want list for AGES. Here are the polishes I received (from left to right):

• Mint Candy Apple
• Splash of Grenadine
• Strut Your Stuff
• Borrowed & Blue

The next item that caught my eye was the NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler. I puffy heart the NYX Butter Glosses so seeing this was awesome.

The next two items that I got were two scented items. The first being a PocketBac Hand Sanitizer from Bath and Body Works in the scent Apple Mango. It’s actually quite awesome that Niki chose this scent because when the Hubs and I were at Bath and Body Works a few weeks ago he ALMOST chose this one! The other item is an Amber Sparkle body lotion from Ulta in the scent Citrus Amber. I’ve never heard of this brand but the smell is amazing. It smells like musky citrus which actually really works for it. I haven’t tested the feel of the lotion so the scent is the only thing I can tell you about at the moment.

The last item that I received from Niki was this very beautiful Origami Owl necklace. I’ve seen necklaces like this on Instagram a lot but I’ve never actually see the concept in person. After receiving one I totally am in love with it. Niki included three charms in my necklace a star, the word blog, and a bathtub with the letter C. I love all three of them!

Overall this was a great swap and I really enjoyed talking to Niki and receiving some really great and generous items. I can’t wait to participate in the next swap! Speaking of which Chelsee did make an announcement on her blog stating that from now on the Pretty Little Beauty Swap will be held in January, April, July, and October. So look for signups for the next swap to be around January!
