Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream Back of Box on southeastbymidwest.com #moisturizer #adovia #beauty #bblogger #skincare

Adovia claims that this product is quick to absorb, it’s non-greasy, it protects the skin without clogging the pores, and that it hydrates while soothing the skin. It does this with dead sea minerals, grape seed oil, chamomile, and aloe. Having used another one of Adovia’s products before, the Exfoliating Facial Salts, I decided to give it a try and see if it is all it claims to be.

Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream Bottle on southeastbymidwest.com #moisturizer #adovia #beauty #bblogger #skincare

To start off, the packaging for the Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream is great. The product comes in a glass bottle with a plastic lid, there’s also a plastic cover over the product when you take off the lid. I found that the glass bottle actually helps the product to have a coldness to it that you would want in a face cream product. I also really like the fact that the product comes with a little plastic piece that sits over the product. I feel this helps keep the cream more hygienic between uses.

Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream Product in Jar on southeastbymidwest.com #moisturizer #adovia #beauty #bblogger #skincare

As for the actual product, it’s a nice thick white cream that is very fragrant. Before we talk about the cream and how it did let’s talk about the fragrance. There is a very strong scent with this product that lingers even after applied and absorbed into the skin. If you like the scent of chamomile then you might not have a problem with the scent of the product, however, if you find that chamomile is a bit to off putting to you then you might want to give this one a pass.

Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream on Hand on southeastbymidwest.com #moisturizer #adovia #beauty #bblogger #skincare

Back to the cream itself. As I said before, it’s a nice thick white cream. It really is very moisturizing when it blends and it blends super well. I also like that it doesn’t leave a white cast to the skin, another moisturizer I have does do this and it’s very annoying. One thing to note about the product is that while it is a thick cream, it isn’t heavy at all which is very important. It sits lightly on the skin and does absorb quickly.

Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream Applied on southeastbymidwest.com #moisturizer #adovia #beauty #bblogger #skincare

Overall this is a great moisturizer that will last you awhile as a little bit goes a long way. If strong fragrances, especially chamomile, bothers you then you might want to skip this one. However, if fragrances don’t bother than you then you might want to give this one a try.

I don’t even know what chamomile smells like. I used to not care much about skincare products and just used coconut oil, but then I started working through Tomoson and started reviewing skincare products and now I’m hooked. I’ve found some of the best stuff that way!

My skin is so dry. I wonder if this would help with the thickness of the cream. Smells get to me but the only way to really know is to try, eh?
