Adovia claims that this product is quick to absorb, it’s non-greasy, it protects the skin without clogging the pores, and that it hydrates while soothing the skin. It does this with dead sea minerals, grape seed oil, chamomile, and aloe. Having used another one of Adovia’s products before, the Exfoliating Facial Salts, I decided to give it a try and see if it is all it claims to be.
To start off, the packaging for the Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream is great. The product comes in a glass bottle with a plastic lid, there’s also a plastic cover over the product when you take off the lid. I found that the glass bottle actually helps the product to have a coldness to it that you would want in a face cream product. I also really like the fact that the product comes with a little plastic piece that sits over the product. I feel this helps keep the cream more hygienic between uses.
As for the actual product, it’s a nice thick white cream that is very fragrant. Before we talk about the cream and how it did let’s talk about the fragrance. There is a very strong scent with this product that lingers even after applied and absorbed into the skin. If you like the scent of chamomile then you might not have a problem with the scent of the product, however, if you find that chamomile is a bit to off putting to you then you might want to give this one a pass.
Back to the cream itself. As I said before, it’s a nice thick white cream. It really is very moisturizing when it blends and it blends super well. I also like that it doesn’t leave a white cast to the skin, another moisturizer I have does do this and it’s very annoying. One thing to note about the product is that while it is a thick cream, it isn’t heavy at all which is very important. It sits lightly on the skin and does absorb quickly.
Overall this is a great moisturizer that will last you awhile as a little bit goes a long way. If strong fragrances, especially chamomile, bothers you then you might want to skip this one. However, if fragrances don’t bother than you then you might want to give this one a try.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I need a good cream but I think the smell would bother me.
It was a bit to strong for me and I gave it to my Mother-in-Law. However, she LOVES it.
Finding a good day cream is so hard. I think the scent would bother me if it lingered.
I don’t even know what chamomile smells like. I used to not care much about skincare products and just used coconut oil, but then I started working through Tomoson and started reviewing skincare products and now I’m hooked. I’ve found some of the best stuff that way!
They really do have quality products on that site to review!
Thanks for being so transparent about the fragrance. I tend to be allergic to a lot of highly-scented products.
My skin is so dry. I wonder if this would help with the thickness of the cream. Smells get to me but the only way to really know is to try, eh?
I of like a really good facial cream, but it has to smell good too.
this sounds like something i need to try!
I love thick creams like this. They make such a difference to your skin and really feel like they’re actually doing something.

Ohh, I love the products they make. I will have to check this one out.
Good review. Haven’t heard of that brand name before. But I love my philosophy skin care, it works really well with my skin
Very cool – I will have to check it out!
I don’t care for the thicker creams myself but my mama does, I bet she would love this.
Good to know! My skin is super sensitive and I have a moisturizer that works, for now. I’ll keep this in mind if I have to start experimenting again in the future.
Those dead sea minerals seem to be in everything these days!
Oh I love the calming scent chamomile – I’m going to have to check this one out!
This looks like a great product, though I haven’t given it a try yet!
The dead sea particles intrigued me, but after that when you said it has a strong scent I don’t think it would quite work for me! For now, my target-brand moisturizer does me well 🙂
Sounds like a great product, never heard if the brand before this post.
Sounds like a great product and it is at a good price. My mom would like this.
I love finding reviews on things I’ve never heard of before. I’m the kind of sensitive to perfume-y smells because they give me a headache, but this stuff looks like it works well.
This looks like a great moisturizing cream. I am not sure if I would enjoy the powerful smell, though.
I haven’t tried the Day Cream before, but I tried the eye cream and it kinda burned when it got into my eyes.
I love hearing about new face creams!
I totally love Adovia products. I have not try this moisturizer yet so I’m going to check it out 😀
Thank you for giving this cream an honest review. I appreciate the fact that you mention the fragrance because I have severe allergies and would have a reaction to this cream.
Sounds like a really good one and the scent of Chamomille is my jam!
Adovia sounds like a great creme. My skin can always use extra moisturizing. It gets dry so easily!
I’m very excited about Adovia. It sounds like a great creme. I’m going to give it a try. My skin gets dry so easily.
Yay! This is a perfect post for me to read because I get so so dry come winter! Thank you so much for sharing!
Sounds like it smells delicious! Can’t ever have to many good creams!
Its good to know about the scent. I can’t stand smelly creams on my face…its so close to your nose that you’re stuck smelling it all day!
I really like the smell of chamomile but I’m not sure if I’d want it all over my face. Great review 😀
As I age, I realize more and more that I need to take care of my skin. Thanks for the review. Always learn something new.
That looks like a great cream. I have their Dead Sea Mud Soap and love it.
It’s good to hear that this works well, it looks so nice and fluffy!
A god moisturizer is a must have in our house. Thanks for sharing this brand with us!
This sounds amazing and I bet the chamomile scent is so relaxing!
I’m always on the look out for a good moisturizer. But the price is a little high for me.
I think it’s nice that it has fragrance and moisturizes. It makes your skin better and smell better.
These look like some great products for the ladies to try out.
The packaging looks really good. The fragrance must be quite relaxing. I love the smell of chamomile!
I’m very scent sensitive so I’m afraid it would give me a headache. That’s a bummer!
reviews like this are very helpful! i dont like scented things well i love it on my house but not on my face or skin. my nose gets itchy when i smell something from the A/C too! but looking to the review its a nice product that amust try!
This looks great! I’m always looking for new moisturizers 🙂
Now a product that I can truly use due to me being gluten free. Thanks for the review and I’ll be picking up a couple to keep on hand. This is why I love blogs, I’m always finding something new and different.
I don’t think I have heard of Adovia brand before. This cream sounds like something I would love to try. Thanks for sharing.
never tried this one, but Adovia soap is awesome so I’ll have to look into it thanks!
Great review. Looks like a good moisturizer. I am always on the look out for things that are hypoallergenic too. It’s a must!
I’m in this day creams and night creams phase right now so I’m gonna check Adovia next time I’m out. I hope it’s not greasy when you put it on.
Ahh, I have never heard of this brand before, but it looks like something I would like. I like how its heavy, but not heavy on the skin!
I totally love strong fragrances so I should be all over this!
I have a sensitive skin and I break out with moisturizers that is not oil free. This one looks promising and never heard of the brand before.
This sounds like a great moisturizer! Although I’m not certain I would be able to handle all of the scent.
I love really good thick moisturizer like that since my face is so dry. I’d be a little hesitant about the strong fragrance, but I’d still give it a try!
This looks like a great moisturizer! I’ll have to look into the line!
Unfortunately, fragrances usually bother me, especially lavender and lilac. I am not sure why, but otherwise, it does seem like a great product!
great review!… but i’ll give it a pass for the fragrance! if it itches my nose, it’s not getting on my face! hehe >XD
Great review! I have a perfect night cream that I cannot stop using, but I haven’t found a day cream that I absolutely love. I’ll have to check this one out!
I am always searching for a new moisturizer! This looks great!
I’m not sure what chamomile smells like, so i don’t know if that would bother me, but otherwise it does sound good. i need a new moisturiser, most creams either make me look to shine or too pale I can’t seem to find the right one, so i should probably give adovia a try 🙂 great review!
