It’s been awhile since I’ve done a monthly favorites post. I thought that a August 2014 Favorites post would be a great one to jump back in with. Be warned though I didn’t really have any makeup favorites this month as I haven’t really worn makeup this month, it’s just been to hot! Here is what I have been loving though.

Lotion

I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned it on the blog but I suffer from Eczema, this isn’t contagious in anyway I just have severely dry skin that can lead to little patches of dry skin. I have found that besides prescription creams the L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream works WONDERS with my Eczema. I use this when I get out of the shower, making sure to hit all my super dry patches, and my previous patches have cleared up and I haven’t had any new ones since starting to use this!

2nd Lotion

I like to partner the L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream with another lotion that I will use throughout the day. Currently this lotion is the OPI AvoJuice in Coconut Melon. I love the the way this leaves my skin feeling soft and not greasy throughout the day and I also love the scent, it reminds me of the beach! You can actually read my full review by clicking here.

Body Wash

I used the Victoria’s Secret Dream Angel Heavenly body wash when I was in college and it is still one of my favorite body washes to this day. I will say though that I really wish they would STOP redesigning the bottle! I liked the way it looked back in 2003, I hated it when they gave it the design I have but they just recently redesigned it AGAIN! They just need to stop.

Lip Balm

I have been loving the Nivea lip balms lately but my absolute favorite one for when I’m at home is the Nivea a Kiss of Milk and Honey. I’m loving this one because of how moisturizing it leaves my lips feeling and it lasts a long time. This is quickly taking the place of a the Nivea a Kiss of Defense.

Planner

The last thing I’m loving this month is my Erin Condren Life Planner. I purchased this back in July and got it about midway through August, which is pretty good considering all the specialty items I ordered with it. This planner will last me until December…of next year! I love how organized it is keeping me with planning out my posts and coming up with ideas.
