Purchase: Beauty Care Choices
The packaging for the OPI AvoJuice in Coconut Melon is great. The bottle is made of a thick water bottle type material, which allows you to see the product through the bottle. The pump is a nice sturdy pump that dispenses a nice amount of product for one pump. I didn’t feel like I wasn’t getting to much or not enough product when using the pump. As for the AvoJuice itself, it looks and feels a bit like the lemon custard that you would put in a tart. Not that this is a bad thing, just a heads up that it won’t feel like your typical lotion.
I don’t know about you but the first thing that I do when I get a bottle of lotion is take the top off and sniff. So of course as soon as I received the OPI AvoJuice in Coconut Melon I HAD to sniff it, partially to know what the smell was like and partially to make sure it didn’t have a strong coconut scent which the Hubs HATES. I was pleased to find that while there is a hint of coconut to the scent it’s not overpowering. When I smelled the scent I immediately thought of summer, think suntan lotions etc., while the hubs first thought was Piña colada. Either way the coconut wasn’t so strong that he was complaining about it so it was a win.
As for the how the AvoJuice works, it works GREAT. My hands were SO soft after using AvoJuice and stayed that way for several hours. I have problems with severe dry skin and the AvoJuice really helped that. It was so good that I had the Hubs give it a try, since I was so impressed with it, and now he keeps trying to steal it!
