The Video

Foundation

Benefit Big Easy on southeastbymidwest.com

I love this Benefit Big Easy BB Cream. It goes on like a liquid foundation but dries like a powder. It has an SPF of 35 which is so great. I’ll be stocking up on this because it has quickly become one of my favorite foundations.

Makeup Brush

Sigma F82 Round Kabuki Brush on southeastbymidwest.com

Since purchasing the Sigma F82 Round Kabuki it’s quickly become one of my favorite brushes. I love the control it gives me over my makeup and how it allows me to really buff in my foundation which eliminates any and all harsh lines. Plus it’s density means that the bristles don’t just go all wimpy.

Setting Powder

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder on southeastbymidwest.com

I have seen the Rimmel Stay Matte Setting Powder all over YouTube but have had the worst time trying to find it in Translucent in an actual store near me. I finally did find it and it certainly lived up to it’s hype. It keeps me matte and it doesn’t leave a white cast on my face at all.

Hair Care

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle on southeastbymidwest.com

I always have to use detangler because how thick and natty my hair gets. However, I’ve always used the detangler that you purchase at the store for your kids. This is my first time using an “adult” detangler and I LOVE it. It smells like cotton candy and it works better than the store detangler.

Blush

Dior Skin Shimmer in Rose Diamond on southeastbymidwest.com

I saw this on Casey’s YouTube channel, hers was the Amber Diamond version though, and new that I instantly had to get it. I’m glad that I was able to snap this up when I did because it has been discontinued. I LOVE this blush and will seriously be sad when I run out.

I always used detangler, too. My hair is super curly, but thanks to keratin, I can actually get a brush thought my hair now LOL.

Great picks! I have to get that detangler for my daughter! She’s going to be 13 next month and I think she will enjoy the “grown up” factor. Plus it sounds like it smells great!

I’m going to try that Benefit BB cream. I got a Smashbox one last month and I do really like it, but I’ll need a different shade soon.

I’ve been on a mission to find a foundation that doesn’t look cakey- maybe I’ll try the liquid to powder.

The blush is really pretty! I’m not sure how I would feel about the foundation (just pictured, it looks a little “off” to me, but I love that it has such a high SPF!)
