It’s time for my Julep July Reveal post. As you can see I went with a different box other than my usual It Girl box, which is the one with the three polishes, and got one that had a beauty product in it. I also used all three of my add-on spots for this month. If you want to watch the video before continuing feel free to.
The Video:
The Freebie:
Each month Julep includes a freebie in your box. In May I believe it was Rock Candy and in June it was Salt-Water Taffy. This month the freebie is a set of Green Tea Blotting Papers. The package has 40 sheets in it and let me tell you I got something similar to this in my Ipsy bag one month that was included in the price and there was only 25 sheets so this is a dang good freebie.
The Product:
This month I went with the Classic with a Twist box which means that I got two polishes and a beauty product. This months beauty product is a beach tonic. Essentially this product is a body oil that you rub on right after you get out of the shower while your skin is still damp. It’s supposed to moisturize, nourish, and it has a really nice citrus scent to it which works really well.
Alaina:
According to Julep Alaina is a “driftwood taupe creme” polish. To me that means it’s a purpley-taupey color. I probably will wait to use this until later in the fall or early winter.
Cassie:
Cassie is the reason that I purchased this box, I mean I HAD to get the box that had a polish with my name (and spelled correctly to boot) right? Right! Anywhoozle, Cassie is listed as a “soft coral sheer” polish. In the video I say that this is a pinky coral but in actuality once on my nails it comes off as a peachy coral. I love, love, LOVE this color!
Blakely:
Blakely is the first of my three add-on polishes for this month. Julep lists Blakely as a “purple and green molten” polish and it really does come off that way. I can’t wait to try this one but again it probably won’t be until later in the year. Oh yeah and this was one of the polishes that would have come in the Bombshell box if you had gotten that one.
Angela:
Angela was one of the polishes from the It Girl box and is the second of my three add-on polishes. A “deep sea blue molten” polish that is simply gorgeous in the bottle and I can’t wait to try it out.
Fireworks:
Fireworks is the last of my add-on polishes for the month and is a glitter top-coat that contains red, white, and blue flecks of glitter. You can see this polish in action in the video above. It’s simply gorgeous. I actually ordered another one of these with another Julep order that I have coming in a few days and I’m trying to decide if I want to save it for myself or put it in a giveaway that I have planned.
So there you have my July Julep box. If you don’t already know, Julep is a nail subscription service.
