It’s the end of July and that means that the selection window has opened for the Maven’s to choose their boxes, skip the month, or send their boxes to a friend.
This month’s theme is Garden Party and while not all of the colors scream that for me the Boho Glam box surely does. The Modern Beauty box has two brand new beauty products that are receiving a mixed reaction on the forums.
Modern Beauty
As I said the two beauty products are receiving a mixed reaction. I’ve seen several people mention that this doesn’t feel worth the $19.99 price but I’ve seen others who are really interested in the masks.
Boho Glam
To me this box really embodies the theme. If I was going to ta garden party I would totally wear one of these color. That being said I don’t particularly care for these colors, they’re a bit to pale for me.
Bombshell
OMG that blue! I need this blue in my life. I also love the yellow that it’s partnered with. I would so jump on this box if it wasn’t for that foot stick. I’m sorry but the chapstick for my my feet just isn’t hitting my buttons.
Classic with a Twist
To me this one kind of hits the theme as well but are a tad darker than what I would wear to a garden party. Also, Sylvia looks a bit like Charlotte which I got in my Mystery Box.
It Girl
For me Nellie and Marjorie look like non-glittery versions of the Monica and Kyla from the Mystery Box. Fiore doesn’t look brown so much as a deep grey. I guess we’ll see when people start releasing swatches.
Featured Add-on
In honor of their two-year anniversary the featured add-on this month is this trio set which has a white gold, a rose gold, and a glitter top coat. I’m loving the white and rose gold polishes but I’m on the fence about the glitter top coat. They’re just so dang hard to get off.
Upgrade
The full upgrade had the 9 polishes from the boxes and the two beauty products from the Modern Beauty box. I’m disappointed that this month the featured add-on isn’t included with the full upgrade. If it had been I might have been all over that.

Wow, so many gorgeous colors, I’d want them ALL, and the sdd-ons, too!
I’m STILL trying to decide which ones I want and I only have until tomorrow to finalize my decision. This one might come down to the wire!
I like boho glam is my favorite again. I can’t wait my first box to get here.
All of the colors are so fun, yet different! I think you did the featured add-on one 🙂
