It’s been awhile since I’ve linked up with Alissa from Rags to Stitches for a Coffee Date Vlog. Since I got some new things coming up on the blog I thought a vlog would be the best way to get it all out there. That being said I’m planning on participating in this linkup more often so look for that on Friday’s.
One of the things that I mention in the video is a new linkup that I’m going to be having on the blog. Essentially I’m going to be hosting a weekly scavenger hunt style linkup but focusing more on makeup, beauty, and fashion items. The first linkup will be this Sunday so if you would like to come back and participate you’re more than welcome to. Here are this weeks three prompts:
1. Your Makeup Collection
2. Your Favorite Nail Polish
3. What You Wore: Makeup Edition
The rules are going to be simple. You’ll need to link to your post not your blog, you’ll need to have a link in your post linking back to my blog, items should try to be actual pictures of the items and not stock photos from a website of the prompts, comment on a few other blogs, and it would be nice if you would follow me in some format but that one is not required…all other rules are though.
To explain this weeks three prompts. Your makeup collection should be an image of either your entire makeup collection or part of your collection or your collection vs what you wish your collection was. Your favorite nail polish can either be a picture of the polish in the bottle, on your nails, someone running away and you chasing them for the bottle, etc. What you wore: makeup edition is to just pick a makeup look and take a picture of either yourself wearing the look or the products used to accomplish the look but tell us what the products are. Try to think outside of the box for these. If you don’t currently have your favorite nail polish because you used it all up then head to a local store and snap a picture of yourself sad face looking at your favorite polish etc.
